In this role, you will execute across the full hardware development lifecycle — from requirements capture and schematic design through bring-up, integration, and production — while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams. You will bring hands-on technical depth, a strong sense of ownership, and the initiative to contribute meaningfully from day one.  RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li>Execute requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and test for electrical designs </li> <li>Support the rapid design, development, and testing of high-reliability electrical systems for spacecraft engineering and development efforts </li> <li>Collaborate with system architecture development across cross-functional teams </li> <li>Participate in preliminary and critical design reviews to support program requirements </li> <li>Conduct derating analysis and worst-case circuit analysis </li> <li>Support system-level integration of electrical subsystems, including hardware and software interfaces </li> <li>Perform first article testing, unit-level testing, and production testing </li> <li>Contribute to the development and execution of validation and qualification testing campaigns to ensure reliable hardware </li> <li>Develop and maintain documentation for electrical systems and components, including design specifications, test plans, and operating procedures </li> <li>Support hardware through production, integration, and launch </li> <li>Collaborate with experts from other teams and departments to improve system efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability, and to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and quality assurance processes </li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical engineering processes and practices </li> </ul> QUALIFICATIONS <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field </li> <li>2-4 years of professional experience in electrical engineering </li> <li>Proficiency with PCB design in Altium Designer or equivalent </li> <li>Solid understanding of applicable codes and standards including PCB and PCBA design </li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li> </ul> PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE <ul> <li>Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field </li> <li>Experience with spacecraft electrical system design and testing </li> <li>Familiarity with spacecraft power systems, avionics, and communication subsystems </li> <li>Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to spacecraft electrical systems </li> <li>Embedded firmware development experience </li> <li>Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, and Simulink </li> <li>Knowledge of IPC standards and specifications including IPC-610, IPC J-STD-001, and other relevant PCB design and assembly standards </li> <li>Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment or a similarly dynamic setting </li> </ul> COMPENSATION <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Base Salary: $90,000-$120,000</li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave </li> </ul> Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.  ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS <ul> <li>Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance </li> <li>Work Location—this role will be onsite at our Centennial, CO location , with travel to other sites as needed.</li> <li>Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.</li> <li>Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.</li> </ul> This position will be open until it is successfully filled.
