<p><strong>Job Summary</strong><strong><br></strong>The Iron Worker is responsible for completing tasks related to structural iron and steel erection and completing the tasks in a timely, quality manner while maintaining safety and productivity.</p>
<p>The project is for the <strong>United States Army Corps of Engineers</strong> and will require a background check to gain site access. <strong>Davis-Bacon wages will be paid.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Essential Job Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist in work area layout, assembly, and installation of structural steel. May include taking measurements, assisting with setting up rigging, unloading and shake out of material.</li>
<li>Install safety line and posts.</li>
<li>Clean work area and assist in keeping it safe.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>
<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>GED or High School Diploma.</li>
<li>TWIC Card and/or Real ID’s are required.</li>
<li>Ability to work at heights in various weather conditions.</li>
<li>Ability to work from ladders and scaffolds.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Capable of performing physically demanding tasks during long shifts.</li>
<li>Skilled in math which includes adding and subtracting fractions.</li>
<li>Must have a valid driver's license.</li>
<li>Must pass a background check and do a drug screening.</li>
</ul>

<li>Limited working surfaces.</li>
<li>Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.</li>
<li>Exposure to areas with limited visibility.</li>
