This is a hybrid seat: client execution + real-time market color + hands-on trade support, with daily coordination alongside our U.S.-based, self-clearing settlements/ops team.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Execute cash equity orders for institutional clients with a best-execution mindset</li> <li>Partner closely with Sales and Trading to deliver high-touch coverage and fast follow-through</li> <li>Provide actionable market color&nbsp;(flows, catalysts, liquidity, sector/stock moves) and desk commentary</li> <li>Own trade lifecycle support: booking, allocations, confirmations, and break resolution</li> <li>Work directly with U.S. Operations/Settlements to ensure smooth processing across time zones</li> <li>Adhere to best execution policies, regulatory obligations, and internal trading controls</li> <li>Escalate market, operational, or counterparty risks promptly; assist in refining desk procedures and controls</li> <li>Collaborate with institutional salespeople and position traders</li> <li>Gain familiarity with William Blair’s equity products and research.
