This role will oversee project execution to ensure alignment with company objectives related to cost control, safety, quality, client satisfaction, and timely delivery. Put in your application today, and allow Interstates to prove to you why we are an Industry Leader in more ways than one.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Review and fully understand the project’s agreement/contract, specifications, clarification and exceptions, scope&nbsp;<br>of work, budgets, and allowances prior to commencement</li> <li>Monitors project progress information and cost of labor, cost of material, and productivity for project control and&nbsp;<br>analyze each week</li> <li>Analyze and investigate new techniques for fabrication and installation of work and possibilities for value&nbsp;<br>engineering and determine the most efficient and effective project delivery methods and procedures and assist<br>project/site leader in ensuring implementation</li> <li>Provide project/site leader and operations manager with all required data and bid information (budgets/strategies)&nbsp;<br>and back-up support to properly construct the project on time and within budget</li> <li>Responsible for analysis, verification, correctness of field production reports for progress billings and monitoring<br>of detail job cost, cost effectiveness, and profitability of job</li> <li>Advise estimating department and other related departments of any discrepancies with bid/budgets and follow up&nbsp;<br>with addressing the required solution.</li> <li>Develop and then update at least monthly the overall schedule. Review schedules with the leader of each project&nbsp;<br>including the required timetables for work performed by subcontractors</li> <li>Direct the coordination of project delivery activities with the project/site leader and the subcontractor’s work crew&nbsp;<br>as required</li> <li>Assist project/site leader with project conflicts and situations</li> <li>Responsible for discussion and resolution with project/site leader, operating manager, and estimator of potential&nbsp;<br>problems, changes in the work, extra work, productivity, health and safety issues, impacts and/or revision to the&nbsp;<br>project schedule as needed</li> <li>Responsible for approving invoices (quantities and prices) of material, people, vendors, subcontractors, rentals,&nbsp;<br>etc., for payment</li> <li>Coordinate and process change orders with clients/general contractors, suppliers, project/site leaders and/or<br>subcontractors</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years leading projects.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of project contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.</li> <li>Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.</li> <li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Commitment to safety and quality standards.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Able to track and organize projects and prioritize work</li> <li>Open to continuously adjusting project systems to plan and deliver projects successfully</li> <li>Strong team building, interpersonal/verbal/written communication skills</li> <li>Comfortable speaking in front of clients, peers, and managers</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>Bachelor's or associate's degree in Construction Management or engineering/technology.</p> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong> The base pay range for this position is <strong>$86,000-$130K</strong> for base Salary. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
