ProShares continues to innovate with products that provide strategic and tactical opportunities for investors to manage risk and enhance returns.</p> <p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p> <p>The Credit and Counterparty surveillance position is responsible for the daily monitoring of PFG business partners.&nbsp; The individual will also monitor current market events and recommend the approval of new counterparties based on standards defined by the credit committee.&nbsp; The role will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of an in-house database of financial data of all PFA counterparties.&nbsp; Finally, the role will be responsible for maintaining ongoing relationships with counterparties and financial officers necessary for the timely completion of annual due diligence reviews.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Be Responsible For</strong><a href="#_ftn1" name="_ftnref1"><strong><sup>[1]</sup></strong></a><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Surveillance and monitoring of all counterparties: <ul> <li>Swap and repo</li> <li>Authorized Participants</li> <li>FCM’s</li> <li>Custodians</li> <li>Transfer Agents</li> <li>Firm technology vendors and data providers</li> <li>And any other firm who’s viability could directly or indirectly impact the financial condition of either PFG and its affiliates or any products it manages</li> </ul> </li> <li>Development and Implementation of best practices with the goal of reducing firm wide risk.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to best practices.</li> <li>Create and implement an in house repository for all supporting data and files.</li> <li>Annual due diligence reviews and oversight of the firms’ internal credit team comprised of several portfolio managers.</li> <li>Assist in the monitoring of the money market fund sub advisory relationship.</li> <li>Daily surveillance of all counterparties and execution only brokers to ensure that they meet minimum credit standards.</li> <li>Daily surveillance of FCM’s to ensure that they meet minimum standards.</li> <li>Daily update of financial models.</li> <li>Daily monitoring of firm wide exposure and the distribution of reports to portfolio managers.</li> <li>Annual due diligence reports for all approved counterparties, FCM’s, and execution only brokers.</li> <li>Quarterly updates prepared for the credit committee.</li> <li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree, Finance, economics, math, engineering, accounting, or related field.</li> <li>Five to seven years experience preferred at an asset manager or buy- side firm in a credit analysis role.</li> <li>Excel proficiency required. VBA and macro writing skills preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with Bloomberg, Bridge, Trade Web.</li> <li>Requires reading and analyzing financial statements.</li> <li>Fundamental credit analysis and research.</li> <li>Requires understanding of Credit Default Swap spreads and their use in credit analysis.</li> <li>Requires extreme attention to detail.</li> <li>Requires strong quantitative and analytical skills.</li> <li>Familiarity of securities regulations.</li> <li>Requires strong oral, written, and presentation skill desirable.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits:</strong></p> <p>The compensation for this position includes salary and incentive pay. The annual base salary range for this role is $180,000 – $225,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation.
