We are responsible for providing near real-time access to global security insights and intelligence data to our customers, enabling them to act in near real-time. In today's AI-driven world, data quality is more critical than ever. We are looking for a seasoned manager to guide the Quality organization through AI-driven workflows to improve the quality of our data products.</p> <p><strong>What’s in it for you</strong></p> <p>In this role, you will take the lead in directing the quality strategy for our core Data Infrastructure and products within high-volume, cloud-scale distributed systems. You will be instrumental in defining technical and quality standards from the ground up, collaborating closely with product and data systems experts to solve complex, large-scale challenges. This position offers a platform for high-impact leadership, allowing you to develop innovative, cutting-edge solutions that drive company goals while further refining your leadership skills in a dynamic and sophisticated engineering environment.</p> <p><strong>What you will be doing</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Team Leadership:</strong> Lead and mentor a team of <strong>10+ engineers</strong> while fostering a culture of collaborative ownership.</li> <li><strong>Strategy &amp; Metrics:</strong> Define quality strategies and technical standards, creating <strong>measurable paths</strong> to achieve them while establishing KPIs to enhance product reliability.</li> <li><strong>Technical Guidance:</strong> Provide leadership to team members in designing automation frameworks and comprehensive testing strategies.</li> <li><strong>Systems Integrity:</strong> Measure and establish data integrity, system performance, and reliability in the face of failures.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Partnership:</strong> Partner with Engineering, Product, and Program Management throughout the development lifecycle to integrate quality into the <strong>core architecture</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Operational Support:</strong> Support production software deployments and lead root-cause analysis for customer escalations.</li> <li><strong>Advocacy:</strong> Build trust through partnerships and act as a passionate advocate for quality and customer success.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required skills and experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years of people management experience leading geographically distributed teams of over 10+ members.</li> <li>A proven track record of developing automation frameworks, testing strategies, and applying modern tools and practices.</li> <li>Deep experience with data systems including <strong>Postgres, Clickhouse, Trino, Spark, Iceberg, Kinesis, Kafka</strong>, and <strong>cloud-native architectures</strong>.</li> <li>Strong familiarity with <strong>AI-driven tools</strong> and experience onboarding modern workflows to improve quality and productivity.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate quality objectives and their importance to customer success.</li> <li>Prior hands-on experience as an individual contributor (IC) at a <strong>Lead/Staff-level or higher</strong> is preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education</strong></p> <ul> <li>BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred</li> </ul> <p>#LI-SC1</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>Compensation:&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 16px;">At Netskope, salary is one component of our competitive total rewards package. The salary range for this position is as listed below. This is a national range. For purposes of complying with applicable laws, the range applies to candidates in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Washington, and other states.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 16px;">The successful candidate’s starting pay will also be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 16px;">For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the On Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target commission amount at 100% goal achievement.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 16px;">In addition to salary, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus plan (for non-sales roles) and a stock award program.
