About the Role

<h2><strong>About Eon</strong></h2> <p>Eon is transforming cloud backups: turning them from passive storage into powerful, searchable assets. Backed by leading investors and built by the team behind CloudEndure (acquired by AWS), we’re defining a new category in cloud data management.&nbsp;We’re early, scaling fast, and building a high-performing GTM team from the ground up.</p> <h2><strong>Position Overview</strong></h2> <p>We’re growing our Sales Development team and looking for hungry, driven SDRs who want to break into (or level up in) enterprise SaaS sales.</p> <p>Our SDRs are true pipeline builders - owning outbound prospecting, partnering closely with AEs, and driving high-quality opportunities into the business. You’ll work a defined territory, operate with a “hunter” mindset, and play a critical role in Eon’s growth.</p> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2> <ul> <li> <p>Generate qualified pipeline across mid-market and enterprise accounts</p> </li> <li> <p>Own outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, and sequencing tools</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner closely with Account Executives on account strategy and execution</p> </li> <li> <p>Identify key stakeholders and personalize outreach to technical and business buyers</p> </li> <li> <p>Run structured, high-volume prospecting cadences</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain tight alignment with AEs and sales leadership on pipeline progress</p> </li> <li> <p>Quickly ramp on Eon’s product, value prop, and competitive landscape</p> </li> <li> <p>Consistently hit or exceed monthly pipeline and activity targets</p> </li> </ul> <h2><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h2> <ul> <li> <p>1+ years of outbound sales and/or SDR/BDR experience in SaaS&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound efforts</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong communication skills (written + verbal)</p> </li> <li> <p>Comfortable cold calling and engaging senior/technical stakeholders</p> </li> <li> <p>Highly organized with strong attention to detail</p> </li> <li> <p>Coachable, competitive, and motivated to grow in sales</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with tools like Salesforce, Hubspot, ZoomInfo, HG Insights, Cadence tools, Nooks, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Grain</p> </li> </ul> <h2><strong>What Sets You Apart</strong></h2> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in cloud, data, infrastructure, or DevOps-related markets</p> </li> <li> <p>Track record of exceeding quota or activity metrics</p> </li> <li> <p>High curiosity and ability to learn technical concepts quickly</p> </li> <li> <p>Entrepreneurial mindset - you take ownership and move fast</p> </li> </ul> <h2><strong>Why Join Eon</strong></h2> <ul> <li> <p>Category-defining product in a massive, evolving market</p> </li> <li> <p>Early-stage environment with real impact on company growth</p> </li> <li> <p>Clear path to Account Executive or other GTM roles</p> </li> <li> <p>High-performance, no-ego team culture</p> </li> <li> <p>Competitive compensation + equity</p> </li> </ul> <h2><strong>Additional Details</strong></h2> <ul> <li> <p>Location: NYC (hybrid, 3 days/week in office)</p> </li> <li> <p>Full-time</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>At Eon, we’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
