Technical Manager - Water Resources at McAdams

Technical managers also provide&nbsp;coaching and mentoring&nbsp;to Water Resources Designers and Project Engineers across all McAdams office locations.</span><br><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Essential Functions + Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Lead a production team, provide resource management, resolve both technical and design problems, coach and mentor design professionals, and work collaboratively with all team members on all aspects of project execution</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Design and produce civil engineering construction documents (site plans, utility plan/profile, design reports, specifications)</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Preparation of local and FEMA flood studies</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Storm drainage and culvert design</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Stormwater control measure design</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Site grading, earthworks, and sediment/erosion control design and permitting</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Coordination with architects, landscape architects, contractors, and owners</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Coordination with local and third-party utility providers regarding impacts associated with projects</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Work in accordance with company standards with project team from concept phase through construction administration for a variety of projects</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Texas PE license</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro, storm drainage modeling software (HEC-HMS, StormCAD, HydraFlow, etc.), and flood modeling software (HEC-RAS)</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Possess technical expertise in site civil engineering as it applies to stormwater and natural resources</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Candidate should be prepared to provide work samples and/or take a CAD assessment</span></li> </ul> <p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
