This role will report to the Sr. Director, People Business Partner and will support the broader People Experience Team on projects and programs. This role offers hands-on experience in supporting and executing on key People programs that help create positive employee experience across the organization. Over the course of the internship, you will contribute to a range of initiatives — from large-scale company events to learning programs and collaborate closely with People Experience team members on projects with real impact. <h3>Responsibilities</h3> This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and broad exposure across several core areas: Culture & Community Experiences (Events & Programming) <ul> <li>Support planning and execution of key summer events, including R&D Day, Patient Day, RareFilms programming, and other community experiences</li> <li>Assist with logistics such as scheduling, vendor coordination, materials preparation, and day-of event support</li> <li>Help capture and synthesize feedback to improve future experiences</li> </ul> Learning & Development (L&D) <ul> <li>Support the L&D function with program management by coordinating session surveys, creating internal marketing materials, and helping to build analytics dashboards to track participation, engagement, and program effectiveness.</li> <li>Assist with updating the L&D section of the intranet with new brand style guidelines.</li> <li>Help with AI enablement support such as the creation of AI user guides.</li> </ul> Projects & Special Initiatives <ul> <li>Collaborate cross functionally with team members from the various Center of Excellences within the People Team</li> <li>Participate in team meetings, working sessions and strategy discussions</li> <li>Partner on special projects as needed</li> </ul> What You’ll Learn <ul> <li>How a high-growth biotech company intentionally builds and scales culture</li> <li>How to design and execute meaningful employee experiences end-to-end</li> <li>How internal communications and events work together to shape employee experience</li> <li>How teams are experimenting with AI and new formats to enhance engagement</li> <li>Exposure to core People Experience team functions and projects</li> <li>Opportunity to work closely with People Team and business leaders</li> </ul> <h3>Where You'll Work</h3> This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration 3x+ per week in our San Francisco Office. <h3>Who You Are</h3> <ul> <li>Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related fields</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Clear communicator (written and verbal)</li> <li>Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and adapting in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Interest in people, culture, events, or organizational development</li> <li>Curious, proactive, and willing to take initiative</li> <li>AI, PPT, and Canva experience a plus.</li> </ul> <h3>Rewarding Those Who Make the Mission Possible </h3> We have high expectations for our team members.
