This role will focus on validating Digital Key, NFC, BLE, Diagnostics, OTA Updates, and Passive Entry features across vehicle, mobile application, cloud, and embedded platforms. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end feature validation, defect triage, root cause analysis, and test automation activities while ensuring a seamless and secure customer experience. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate features, investigate issues, and support production readiness of vehicle access technologies. <h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li>Perform system-level and vehicle-level validation of Digital Key, NFC, BLE, Diagnostics, OTA, and Passive Entry features.</li> <li>Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation strategies for customer-facing access control functionality.</li> <li>Lead defect triage, debugging, and root cause analysis across hardware, embedded software, mobile applications, and cloud services.</li> <li>Validate UDS diagnostics services (ISO 14229), DTC behavior, and ECU communication.</li> <li>Analyze NFC, BLE, CAN, CAN-FD, and Ethernet communication logs to identify and troubleshoot issues.</li> <li>Develop and maintain automation frameworks and regression tests using Python and CAPL.</li> <li>Support digital key interoperability testing across Apple, Google, and Samsung mobile ecosystems.</li> <li>Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, mobile, and supplier teams to ensure successful feature delivery and release readiness.</li> </ul> <h3>Required Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related field.</li> <li>3+ years of experience in Automotive Validation, Integration Testing, or Development Verification.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of UDS Diagnostics (ISO 14229), CAN / CAN-FD Networks</li> <li>Hands-on experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, and automotive debugging tools.</li> <li>Experience with Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and Samsung Wallet Digital Key implementations.</li> <li>Familiarity with Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) Digital Key concepts and certification testing.</li> <li>Strong programming and automation skills using Python and CAPL.</li> <li>Experience with system integration, debugging, and root cause analysis.</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Skills:</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.</li> <li>Familiarity with Secure Elements (SE), PKI, and secure authentication concepts.</li> <li>Experience with Jira and automotive development processes (ASPICE / V-Model).</li> </ul> </div><div class="content-conclusion"><div> Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive <a id="menur13jl" class="fui-Link ___1q1shib f2hkw1w f3rmtva f1ewtqcl fyind8e f1k6fduh f1w7gpdv fk6fouc fjoy568 figsok6 f1s184ao f1mk8lai fnbmjn9 f1o700av f13mvf36 f1cmlufx f9n3di6 f1ids18y f1tx3yz7 f1deo86v f1eh06m1 f1iescvh fhgqx19 f1olyrje f1p93eir f1nev41a f1h8hb77 f1lqvz6u f10aw75t fsle3fq f17ae5zn" href="https://mylucidbenefits.com/" target="_blank">benefits package</a> including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan.
