We are a people-centric organization with employees committed to safety, integrity, and accountability.</p> <p><strong><u>About the Position</u></strong></p> <p>Groome Industrial Service Group is seeking an EHS Specialist; the position requires someone who is motivated, creative, compassionate, knowledgeable, and respectful.&nbsp; The EHS Specialist needs to be able to frequently work without direct supervision.&nbsp; This person must be able to work as a team with company management, operations staff, administrative support personnel, customers, government representatives, and contractor staff.&nbsp; This person needs the capacity to mentor workers in the field in a spirit of cooperation and guidance.</p> <p><strong><u>Why work for Groome Industrial Service Group?</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority 24/7/365!</li> <li>Competitive wages - the salary range for this position is $95,000 to $100,000 per hour based on experience.</li> <li>Paid time off, comprehensive health benefits coverage after 60 days of full-time employment.</li> <li>401(k) after the eligibility period with company matching component.</li> <li>Opportunities for growth and development in your career.</li> <li>Positive and safe work environments.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and reinforce our safety culture in the workplace</li> <li>Build relationships that inspire cooperative safety efforts</li> <li>Conduct Safety meetings</li> <li>Inspect job sites frequently to audit/mentor worker compliance with the EHS program</li> <li>Prepare new hires for entry to the workplace</li> <li>Conduct and/or coordinate EHS training for workers and maintain records of training</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all applicable government entity, customer, and company regulations</li> <li>Evaluate the EHS program, its effectiveness, and suggest improvements where necessary</li> <li>Perform root cause analysis of all incidents and suggest corrective actions to prevent recurrence</li> <li>Keep current on EHS trends, OSHA standards, ATF regulations, and other applicable regulation changes through continuing education and peer networking</li> <li>Draft project specific JHA’s and HASP’s</li> <li>Assist Risk Management with information gathering and other various tasks</li> <li>Assist Compliance department with the administration of Third-Party Administrators for Contractor Compliance</li> <li>Leverage new technology when possible</li> <li>Perform other EHS related duties as necessary</li> </ul> <p>This is a full-time, exempt position based in Fairless Hills, PA.
