Finance Manager (12 month FTC) - Ceremony of Roses (merch) at Sony Music Entertainment

<p>We are seeking a talented Finance Manager to assist in the accounting process, ensuring seamless financial operations across our Sony Music UK <strong>merchandise</strong> companies of Ceremony of Roses &amp; Probity. You will have two direct reports to assist with the below processes and will oversee the accurate monthly reporting process for COR UK.</p> <p><strong>This is a 12 month fixed term contract with a start date of July 2026.&nbsp;</strong></p> <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <h2><strong>What you'll do:</strong></h2> <p><strong><u>Ceremony of Roses &amp; Probity - Touring</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Planning &amp; reporting on the UK &amp; European touring merchandise operation, improving the new process for European sales with Sony Music affiliates.</li> <li>Liasing with the business across each tour life cycle to ensure end to end reporting is completed in a timely &amp; tax compliant manner and artists receive their tour settlement statements in line with their agreements.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Ceremony of Roses - Retail &amp; Licensing</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Implement and execute end to end process of retail &amp; licensing revenue channels to ensure completeness of information.</li> <li>Track the monthly performance against forecast provide commentary.</li> <li>Review retail &amp; licensing royalty statements for month-end accounting and artist reporting.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Ceremony of Roses – New Business</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Take ownership and develop finance processes for new merchandise channels (incl. retail stores, pop ups, non-music events)</li> <li>Liaise with affiliate companies in non UK territories to provide settlement reporting in accordance with deal deadlines.</li> <li>Perform month-end activities relating to new business channels which involves applying revenue recognition and royalty accrual calculations.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Additional</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Data maintenance in new sales &amp; inventory system.</li> <li>Liaise and support AP &amp; AR teams to action client requests and monitor AP &amp; AR ledgers as part of month-end process.</li> <li>Assist in statutory audit requests.</li> <li>Prepare COR UK VAT returns (UK VAT &amp; Import One Stop Shop)</li> <li>Day to day admin assistance and systems support to the business e.g. B pack, Concur, SAP and cash allocation&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job"><strong>Who you are:</strong>&nbsp;</h2> <ul> <li>Taking ownership of role &amp; tasks with ability to problem solve.</li> <li>Retail, merchandise &amp; Licensing accounting experience</li> <li>Fully qualified accountant is preferable&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with SAP, highly skilled in MS Excel and have a solid proficiency in other MS applications.</li> <li>Able to review current processes and propose efficiencies.</li> <li>Understanding of physical goods importing and exporting procedures</li> <li>UK &amp;
