Join us.</div>About the Team:   The Tooling and Factory Automation team sits at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and automation, making everything from large-scale structural fixtures to small tools that directly enable Terran R’s production. As a design group embedded within the manufacturing organization, we dig deep into the needs of our internal partners to understand root problems, propose solutions, and deliver hardware to help build faster, scale smarter, and work better. The team is also at the forefront of Relativity’s growing factory automation efforts, an increasingly critical part of scaling production of Terran R at existing and future facilities. You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions, field solutions, and see them in action on the factory floor. Ultimately, you’re not just designing tools or automated processes; you’re defining how rockets and factories get built. About the Role:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Plan, coordinate, and execute development fabrication work based off assembly and part drawings </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with partner teams when tooling projects need specialized resources </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ensure adherence to project schedules and provide updates to stakeholders. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Apply strong knowledge of machining and fabrication fundamentals to enable safe, efficient, and repeatable outcomes in a dynamic development environment </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proactively identify design risks, fabrication constraints, and process inefficiencies, using hands-on expertise and sound judgment to recommend design adjustments. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Perform all work in accordance with company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards </li> </ul> About You:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">5+ years of relevant experience fabricating tooling or maintaining equipment </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Knowledge of common manufacturing materials, GD&T, and understanding of technical drawings  </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with manufacturing processes and machines (e.g., mills, lathes, welding, sheet-metal bending).</li> </ul> Nice to haves but not required:   <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" data-leveltext="o" data-font="Calibri" data-listid="16" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":1440,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Calibri","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"o","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Knowledge of fixture design and stack-ups analysis  </li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">At Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
