Calibration Technician - Field (OnCal) at Accredited Labs

Making this position suitable for both entry-level candidates and those with experience.</p> <p><strong>Day to Day Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025</li> <li>Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites</li> <li>Perform calibration, performance checks and repair and maintenance on a wide variety of Instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards</li> <li>Operate, maintain, and adjustment of calibration test equipment</li> <li>Continually review all work processes, calibration and test results for accuracy and completeness</li> <li>Working directly with client with effective communication to provide updates and answer questions</li> <li>Ensure all calibration complies with test and operation procedures and with industry regulations and quality standards</li> <li>Ensure that all calibration and tests are conducted safely and in compliance with established safety standards</li> <li>Prepare and maintain accurate calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record</li> <li>Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in high-temperature environments</li> <li>Excellent troubleshooting skills for electronic and computerized control systems.</li> <li>Professional demeanor and strong communication skills</li> <li>Strong customer service and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Self-Motivated with proven ability to work independently in the field</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications</li> <li>If a fleet vehicle is assigned to you, you are required to store the company vehicle at your residence safely</li> <li>Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>1+ years of basic calibration experience</li> <li>Associate's degree in engineering, electronics, other technical fields, or equivalent combination of trade school and field experience</li> <li>Technical degree or certificate</li> <li>Experience with IndySoft</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Us:</strong></p> <p>Accredited Labs is a trusted provider of accredited calibration services.
