This hybrid role, with one day per week in office, offers the right candidate an ideal balance of flexibility and meaningful engagement, without sacrificing the collaborative connection that comes from being part of a team in person.</p> <p>In this role, you will take primary ownership of hourly payroll processing, ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time with every cycle. You will also lend your expertise to exempt payroll processing as needed, serving as a dependable resource across the full payroll function.</p> <p>Beyond day-to-day processing, this role carries real strategic weight. You will contribute to active ADP system projects designed to enhance how we operate, and you will play a hands-on role in supporting our global expansion efforts, including payroll operations in India. Experience with ADP Celergo is highly valued, as it is central to how we are building out our international payroll infrastructure.</p> <p>This is a meaningful opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is ready to contribute to both day-to-day operations and exciting growth initiatives, including ADP system projects and our expanding global footprint.</p> <p><strong><u>WORK LOCATION:</u></strong></p> <p>The Part-time Payroll Analyst position is eligible for remote work based on company requirements, with one-day a week in-office requirement in the Framingham, MA office, 4 hours a day for 5 days a week.</p> <p><strong><u>JOB FUNCTIONS:</u></strong></p> <p>(This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)</p> <p><strong>Hourly Payroll Processing (Primary)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own end-to-end processing of hourly/non-exempt payroll cycles with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and compliance</li> <li>Validate timekeeping data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation for each pay period.</li> <li>Respond to hourly employee payroll inquiries professionally and with a solutions-oriented approach.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Exempt Payroll Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide backup support and assist with salaried/exempt payroll processing as needed.</li> <li>Assist with off-cycle adjustments, manual payments, corrections, and related audits.</li> </ul> <p><strong>ADP Project Work</strong></p> <ul> <li>Participate in ADP system configuration, testing, and optimization projects.</li> <li>Collaborate with HR and Finance to support system enhancements, workflow improvements, and reporting needs.</li> <li>Contribute to ADP Celergo implementation and ongoing management in support of global payroll operations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Global Expansion Initiatives</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support payroll-related workstreams tied to international expansion, including operations in India.</li> <li>Assist with research, process documentation, and coordination with global payroll providers and internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Help ensure compliance with country-specific payroll regulations and reporting requirements as the organization grows internationally.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compliance &amp; Recordkeeping</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain payroll records in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.</li> <li>Support year-end processing, tax filings, audits, and ad hoc reporting as requested.</li> <li>Uphold strict confidentiality standards in the handling of all employee payroll data.</li> <li>Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: &nbsp;</u></strong></p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Education:</em><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation, or actively pursuing</li> <li>Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience.</li> </ul> <p><em>Technical Experience:</em></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience processing payroll in a professional setting, with a strong command of hourly/non-exempt payroll cycles.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with ADP platforms (e.g., Workforce Now, Run, or comparable ADP product); ADP proficiency is required.</li> <li>Working knowledge of multi-state payroll laws, tax withholding requirements, and wage and hour compliance.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.</li> <li>Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively in a hybrid/remote work environment.</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.</li> </ul> <p><em>Preferred Experience</em><em>:</em></p> <ul> <li>Experience with ADP Celergo for international/global payroll operations, including payroll processing for India-based employees.</li> <li>Familiarity with India-specific payroll compliance requirements (e.g., PF, ESI, TDS, professional tax).</li> <li>Experience supporting or processing exempt (salaried) payroll in addition to hourly payroll.</li> <li>Exposure to or working knowledge of the WorkYard platform, particularly for timekeeping and field workforce management.</li> <li>Background or demonstrated interest in global/international payroll operations and expansion projects.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>TOTAL REWARDS PROGRAM</u>:</strong></p> <p>We define total rewards as compensation, benefits, remote work/flexibility, development, recognition, and our culture with programs that support each of our reward pillars.
