We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.</p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <p>As an Embedded Software Engineer I&nbsp; you will be responsible for;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>• Contribute to requirements development and management throughout the software development lifecycle</p> <p>• Develop and maintain software architecture documentation and design artifacts in alignment with system-level requirements</p> <p>• Author, manage, and maintain requirements in IBM DOORS with full traceability from system to software to test</p> <p>• Support unit testing, integration testing, and verification activities in hardware-in-the-loop and simulation environments</p> <p>• Apply software engineering standards including DO-178C or equivalent safety/mission-critical standards</p> <p>• Participate in formal technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and contribute to review artifacts</p> <p>• Interface with systems engineers and hardware teams to resolve integration issues and maintain interface control documentation</p> <p>• Produce clear technical documentation including ICDs, design descriptions, test procedures, and analyses</p> <p>• Support verification and validation activities including traceability from test cases back to requirements</p> <p><strong>Qualifications;</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>• 3–6 years of hands-on embedded software engineering experience</p> <p>• Demonstrated experience in software architecture and requirements development, management, and traceability</p> <p>• Working knowledge of IBM DOORS or equivalent requirements management tools</p> <p>• Familiarity with structured software development processes (e.g., DO-178C, MIL-STD-498, or similar)</p> <p>• Ability to read and interpret systems-level requirements and interface control documents</p> <p>• Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of producing clear technical documentation</p> <p>• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline</p> <p>• Must be a U.S. Person (see eligibility requirements below)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Salary Range: $46k-$75k</span></strong></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>ALTEN Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
