About the Role

Petaluma Endodontics is seeking a skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join and support our busy specialty practice. We’re looking for a talented and organized front office professional who can balance patient care with leadership responsibilities. In this role, you’ll not only manage day-to-day patient interactions but also help guide our administrative team to ensure smooth operations, efficient scheduling, and an exceptional experience for every patient.   Your Responsibilities <ul> <li data-start="670" data-end="1420">Oversee daily front office operations, including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and communications</li> <li data-start="670" data-end="1420">Support, mentor, and train front office staff, delegating tasks and ensuring consistency in service</li> <li data-start="670" data-end="1420">Monitor schedule flow to maximize provider availability and minimize patient wait times</li> <li data-start="670" data-end="1420">Ensure accurate entry of patient information, insurance verification, and consent forms</li> <li data-start="670" data-end="1420">Serve as the go-to resource for escalated patient concerns, addressing them with empathy and professionalism</li> <li data-start="670" data-end="1420">Collaborate with clinical and leadership teams to align patient coordination with practice goals</li> <li data-start="670" data-end="1420">Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area while upholding front office procedures and service standards</li> <li data-start="670" data-end="1420">Other responsibilities as needed</li> </ul>   Your Background <ul> <li data-start="1441" data-end="1920">Proven experience in a dental or medical front office setting</li> <li data-start="1441" data-end="1920">Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor team members in a fast-paced environment</li> <li data-start="1441" data-end="1920">Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills</li> <li data-start="1441" data-end="1920">Proficiency with dental practice management software and scheduling systems</li> <li data-start="1441" data-end="1920">Knowledge of insurance verification and patient financial processes preferred</li> <li data-start="1441" data-end="1920">Commitment to excellent patient service and a supportive team environment</li> <li data-start="1441" data-end="1920">High school diploma or equivalent</li> </ul>   Why You Should Join Our Team A career with us means working alongside dental assistants, sterilization technicians, office managers, patient care coordinators, and more—all focused on exceptional care and outcomes.
