About the Role

<div> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Position Overview:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Project Accountant (Commercial Accounts <strong>Receivable </strong>focus) supports core accounting functions across the franchise network, with primary responsibility for executing commercial accounts payable processes. This role also assists with accounts receivable, commission tracking, job cost management, and project-related financial coordination.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This is a hands-on role focused on day-to-day accounting execution and support. The position works closely with franchisees to provide guidance on financial processes and systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of accounting activities.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Commercial Accounts Receivable &amp; Billing (Primary Focus)</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist with customer invoicing and contract-based billing schedules</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support lien releases, pay applications, and vendor documentation requirements</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Track receivables and support franchisees with aging and collections follow-up</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Apply payments and help resolve customer billing discrepancies</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure alignment between billing activity and project progress</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain organized and audit-ready AR records</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></h3> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Commissions &amp; Financial Tracking</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist with tracking and calculating commissions and incentive payouts</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Validate data inputs and help resolve discrepancies</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain accurate records tied to sales and project completion</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></h3> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Job Costing &amp; Project Financial Coordination</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support tracking of job costs, ensuring expenses are properly coded and aligned with projects</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist with Schedule of Values (SOV) tracking and large project financial coordination</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain accurate project-level financial data within systems</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Help ensure consistency between job costing, billing, and expenses</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></h3> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Franchise Support &amp; Systems</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Respond to franchisee inquiries related to accounting processes and systems</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide guidance on QuickBooks Online usage and day-to-day financial processes</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support inventory system usage (SOS preferred), including basic troubleshooting</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Communicate clearly with franchisees and internal teams to resolve issues</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></h3> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Process Execution &amp; Support</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Follow established accounting processes and workflows across AP, AR, and job costing</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Identify and escalate process improvement opportunities to leadership</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support consistency in financial processes across franchise locations</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Critical Skills &amp;
