This is an exciting opportunity to be a leader, in a growing team of data practitioners, where you will be initiating and implementing cutting-edge data &amp; analytics programmes for top-tier Financial Services clients.</p> <p class="___1ehrlty f1s184ao fpgzoln">This project is with a leading global bank as a&nbsp;<strong>Data Engineer </strong>leading and managing end-to-end <strong>data migration activities</strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li>Lead and manage end-to-end data migration activities, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.</li> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and driving resolution of migration-related issues.</li> <li>Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define migration scope, requirements, dependencies, and success criteria.</li> <li>Develop and oversee data extraction, transformation, migration, and validation processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.</li> <li>Design, build, and optimize data pipelines to support migration and ongoing data integration requirements.</li> <li>Define and manage migration plans, including sequencing of activities, testing, cutover execution, and post-migration support.</li> <li>Identify project risks, data quality concerns, and delivery issues, and proactively implement mitigation and resolution strategies.</li> </ul> </div> <p><strong>SKILLS &amp; EXPERTISE</strong></p> <ul> <li> <div>5 years of experience in data engineering and data migration within Financial Services.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div>Proven experience<strong> delivering large-scale data migration projects,</strong> including planning, execution, validation, and cutover activities.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting for data extraction, transformation, automation, and migration-related processes.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div>Solid understanding of data quality management, reconciliation, and migration testing methodologies.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div>Experience designing and building data pipelines using modern data engineering technologies; exposure to Databricks and Azure data platforms is highly preferred.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong project management skills with experience managing timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div>Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, particularly in complex data migration and integration environments.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li>Immediately available are preferred&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHY JOIN CAPCO?</strong></p> <p>You will work on engaging projects with some of the largest banks in the world, on projects that will transform the financial services industry.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
