Start your journey today and join our skilled team.</p></div><p>As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting construction operations by performing various manual tasks and assisting skilled tradespeople on-site. Your responsibilities will involve physical labor, maintenance of equipment, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Site Preparation:</strong> Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning debris, removing hazards, and erecting barriers or safety signs.</li> <li><strong>Material Handling:</strong> Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and transport them to designated areas.</li> <li><strong>Demolition Work:</strong> Assist in demolition activities by using hand tools and machinery to break down structures or remove debris.</li> <li><strong>Digging and Excavation:</strong> Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth using shovels, picks, and other hand tools.</li> <li><strong>Assistance to Tradespeople:</strong> Providing support to carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople as needed.</li> <li><strong>Equipment Maintenance:</strong> Clean, maintain, and perform minor repairs on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.</li> <li><strong>Equipment Operation: </strong>Ability to operate a forklift.</li> <li><strong>Safety Compliance:</strong> Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.</li> <li><strong>Cleanup and Organization:</strong> Clean and organize work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a tidy and efficient workspace.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Physical Stamina:</strong> Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.</li> <li><strong>Teamwork:</strong> Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors and more experienced workers.</li> <li><strong>Adaptability:</strong> Willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks as assigned based on project needs.</li> <li><strong>Attention to Detail:</strong> Careful and thorough in performing tasks to ensure quality workmanship and safety.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work is performed outdoors at construction sites, involving exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.</li> <li>Schedule may include overtime, weekends, and irregular hours based on project deadlines and requirements.</li> </ul> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 11.0pt;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Safety Level&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 11.0pt;">This is a safety sensitive position, and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply.</p> <ul style="margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;" type="disc"> <li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 11.0pt;">The inherent responsibilities of your role </span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 11.0pt;">may</span><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 11.0pt;"> include physical working conditions.
