<p><strong>Role Summary: </strong>Join our NEW Industrial Manufacturing Technician (IMT) Registered Apprenticeship and gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities you need to have a successful manufacturing career! Interstates is currently seeking motivated student individuals to join our program as Production Tech Apprentices. This role will provide direct support to our Fort Collins manufacturing operations.</p>
<p><strong>Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities: </strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude </li>
<li>Takes the initiative to learn systems and processes </li>
<li>Takes a proactive approach to problem solving </li>
<li>Assembling pre-fabricated electrical construction material </li>
<li>Assembling and pre-wiring light fixtures, receptacles, and switches </li>
<li>Bending and threading conduit </li>
<li>Fabricates support structures by cutting, bending, and welding components </li>
<li>Other duties may be assigned </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Must be High School Sophomore or Junior
<ul>
<li>The IMT Apprenticeship requires a full year for completion.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Must be a minimum 16 years of age to be eligible</li>
<li>Must be enrolled in an HBI PACT Core program - Students should confirm with high school counselor that their program supports participation in a registered apprenticeship.</li>
<li>Must be willing to provide a trasncript or proof of enrollment if requested.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong> Work Schedule:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Able to commit ~10–20 hours per week during the school year and full-time during the summer</li>
<li>Expected to stay in the program for approximately one year</li>
<li>Willing to participate in required apprenticeship coursework (safety, math, tools, workplace skills) </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred Skills/Experience: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Willingness to learn technical skills</li>
<li>Reliability and attendance</li>
<li>Mechanical aptitude or interest</li>
<li>Teamwork</li>
<li>Interest in hands-on manufacturing, electrical, or construction work</li>
<li>Ability to follow safety rules and work in a production environment</li>
<li>Reliable transportation to the Fort Collins facility</li>
<li>Ability to meet physical requirements (lifting, standing, etc.)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Compensation: </strong>Compensation for this position is $17.31/hourly</p>
<p><strong>Location & Travel: </strong>The position is located in Fort Collins, CO. Applicants must be local to the area and willing to commute to the worksite.</p>
