This is a new team being built in our Dublin R&amp;D hub. <strong>The Comms Capture team is responsible for Gong's core data</strong> – the data pipeline that ingests and capture customer’s interactions from external communication systems (emails, calendars, phone/web conferencing calls, texts). These pipelines are <strong>online</strong>, are used by all of the company's customers, and forms the basis for a wide range of Gong's products. serving thousands of customers and constantly impacting Gong's user base to become raving fans of our product.</div> <div class="p-rich_text_section">&nbsp;</div> <div class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">As the Manager, you will:</strong></div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Lead and expand a growing team of backend and frontend engineers.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Collaborate closely with the Product Managers to shape the team’s roadmap, balancing both product goals and engineering priorities.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Lead by example, driving continuous improvement and optimization of the team’s products and infrastructure.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Design and architect long-term technical solutions that deliver a significant impact on both our wide platform and customers.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Coach, mentor, hire, and grow individuals on the team to reach their full potential.</li> </ul> <div class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">You should apply if you are:</strong></div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li>Previous experience leading and developing growing teams.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Proven industry experience as a Senior software engineer</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Strong technical background focusing on large-scale, cloud-based web applications.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (advantage).</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Experience with user-facing products (advantage).</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Holding a degree in computer science or a similar field (preferred).</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Proven experience in project management and team leadership.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Most importantly, a passion for motivating, mentoring, and cultivating people.</li> </ul> <hr> <p><em>Gong believes in offering competitive compensation and benefits tailored to the local region.
