About the Role
<h3><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Role Overview</span></strong></h3>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">We are looking for an <strong>Intermediate Designer</strong> with an Interior Design or Architectural degree, to join the ICRAVE team at our studio in New York. </span>In this role, you will bring your creativity, refined judgment, discipline, and genuine passion to every stage of the design process, from initial concept through full project development. </p>
<p>You will partner with clients to thoughtfully shape and deliver architectural interior projects that are both highly functional and beautifully detailed. Drawing on your hospitality design experience, you will contribute fresh ideas while collaborating with your team to guide each project seamlessly through every design phase.</p>

<h3><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Candidate Qualifications & Skills</span></strong></h3>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Required:</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Professional degree from an accredited architecture or interior design program</span></li>
<li>4+ years of <strong>Post-graduate</strong> experience in an architectural and/or interior design studio</li>
<li>Excellent visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas</li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Proficient in AutoCad and Revit </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Possess the ability to model in 3D Max, Rhino or Revit</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">AIA or NCIDQ Preferred</span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Direct experience in the Hospitality industry</li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience working beyond interior design in one or more of Journey's portfolio areas such as live performance, immersive installations and/or fabrication</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-props="{}"><strong>Location: </strong>Our Broadway Studio is a hybrid design Studio. This role is based in our New York Studio with regular in-person studio hours working with the wider team. On this occasion we can only consider applications from those fully authorized to work in the U.S.</span><br><br><strong>Application: </strong>Please submit a resume and portfolio demonstrating your experience as an interior or architectural designer along with a cover letter explaining how your experience meets the required criteria of this role. Due to the clear design experience required for this role applications without portfolios cannot be considered.</span></p>
