Come join our NY-based team as a Business Intelligence Specialist, working to visually tell actionable stories that can improve our marketing campaigns.
About the Role
The Business Intelligence Specialist will design, build, and maintain intuitive dashboards that translate complex data into meaningful insights for stakeholders across the company. This role works closely with data engineering, analytics, finance, and marketers to understand reporting needs, ensure metrics are accurately represented, and deliver visualizations that drive informed decision‑making. You will own the end-to-end journey of a visualization: from partnering with marketing channel managers to define a KPI, to validating data accuracy, to delivering a polished final product in Tableau. Mastery of BI tools, an eye for clean and effective design, and the ability to communicate technical concepts in a business-friendly way are essential.
In addition to dashboard development, the specialist acts as a steward of data quality and governance, playing a critical role particularly during data outages or anomalies. You will monitor data pipelines, validate metric integrity, investigate irregularities, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues quickly. Your proactive approach helps maintain trust in the company’s data and ensures that leaders always have reliable, accurate information at their fingertips.
