Physician - Virtual Health Assessment - Bilingual in Spanish (Part-time) at Oscar Health

To help us achieve that goal we are looking for innovative leaders who think big and push boundaries to refactor healthcare and the healthcare delivery system.</p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p><strong>This is a remote, part-time position, 20+ hours weekly.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Hours of Operation (shifts will occur within this window of time):</strong></p> <p>Monday - Thursday 8am - 8pm EST</p> <p>Friday &amp; Saturday 8am - 6pm EST</p> <p><strong>Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide 20-29 hours of coverage per week.</li> <li>Minimum shift length is 4 hours</li> </ul> <p>You will deliver quality care to patients on Oscar's platforms via phone and messaging. Note, this list of states is subject to change. #LI-Remote</p> <p><strong>Pay Transparency:</strong></p> <p>The base pay for this role is: $90 - $118 per hour.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations</li> <li>Provide medical care virtually (by phone, video, &amp; message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies</li> <li>Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines</li> <li>Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine</li> <li>MD or DO from an accredited medical school</li> <li>Fluent in Spanish</li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Must be licensed for full practice in&nbsp;TN <span style="text-decoration: underline;">and</span> at least two of the following: MO, MS, AL, FL</strong></li> <li><span data-sheets-root="1">Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance, working with our licensing vendor</span></li> <li>3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice.</li> <li>Strong understanding of risk adjustment methodologies, including HCC coding principles</li> <li>Familiarity with HEDIS measures, including their role in quality improvement and performance measurement</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus points:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of Telemedicine experience</li> <li>IMLCC compact Physician license or eligible to apply</li> <li>Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.
