We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.</p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <div class="x_elementToProof"><strong data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Position Summary:</strong></div> <div class="x_elementToProof"> <ul> <li>The Test Lab Manager&nbsp;will need strong Project Management experience&nbsp;leading a project in Electronic Power Steering.</li> <li>This role oversees testing and validation activities within the engineering lab, serving as the primary project manager for validation programs while leading a team of technicians.</li> <li>This role works with customers to define requirements, test cases, and fixtures while ensuring systems are validated across embedded software, hardware, and mechanical components.&nbsp;</li> <li>Lastly, this role is daily on-site in the test lab.</li> <li>There is no remote opportunity.&nbsp;</li> </ul> </div> <div class="x_elementToProof"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</div> <ul> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Manage testing and validation programs, ensuring alignment with project timelines and engineering requirements.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Lead day-to-day operations of the test lab, communicate tasks, and&nbsp;supervise a team of technicians.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Responsible for the time/cost aspects of&nbsp;the testing lab &nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Responsible for resource schedule and laboratory timelines&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Interface with&nbsp;customers on requirements, test cases, and validation strategies.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Support system-level testing for embedded software, hardware, and mechanical systems in a&nbsp;mechatronics&nbsp;environment.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Represent Test &amp; Validation to all teams involved with the project &nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Track testing progress and documentation using tools such as MS Project, Windchill, and DOORS.&nbsp;</div> </li> </ul> <div class="x_elementToProof"><strong>Required Experience</strong>&nbsp;</div> <ul> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Bachelor’s degree and background in systems engineering, embedded systems, or mechatronics.&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Project management experience &nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Strong time management and organization&nbsp;skills&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Experience working in a test lab or validation environment&nbsp;preferred &nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Familiarity with tools such as Vector CANalyzer/CANoe, Windchill, DOORS, and MS Project&nbsp;preferred&nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Strong leadership, resilience, and ability to motivate a technical team.&nbsp;</div> </li> </ul> <div class="x_elementToProof"><strong>Work Environment</strong>&nbsp;</div> <ul> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Daily on-site presence in a&nbsp;test&nbsp;lab environment (no remote work).&nbsp;</div> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>ALTEN Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
