Our offices are in a sunny Soho loft in NYC, and downtown Washington DC.</p></div><p class="css-1655dm5 e1wnkr790"><strong>Job description:</strong></p> <div class="css-1dhd1xm eu4oa1w0"> <div class="jd-appended-job-description"> <div class="jd-section-employer"> <div class="jd-description-text"> <p>We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our retail sales team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth across your designated region (30+ retail locations) while fostering relationships with our customers.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional targets.</li> <li>Manage and lead a team of sales representatives to maximize performance.</li> <li>Identify new business opportunities and drive business development initiatives.</li> <li>Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of trends and competitors.</li> <li>Foster strong relationships with customers through excellent service and support.</li> <li>Oversee account management activities to ensure customer satisfaction.</li> <li>Build, develop, and empower a team of diverse employees while providing effective and frequent coaching, feedback, recognition and encouragement.</li> <li>Works with a corporate operations team to enforce company policies, practices, and safety standards.</li> <li>Establish communication strategies through frequent and consistent store visits, one-on-one coaching with retail managers, and regional conference calls.</li> <li>Coordinate and maintain staff schedules for all regional locations.</li> <li>Partner with the Director of Retail to create and execute store budgets and sales goals.</li> <li>Assists in finding and selecting new locations, establishes both temporary and permanent stores, and manages new store opening processes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 3 years of prior retail management experience, including at least 2 years in a District or Regional Management role is required.</li> <li>Experience managing multiple stores is required.</li> <li>Proven experience in sales management or a similar role within the consumer goods industry.</li> <li>Strong negotiation skills with a track record of meeting sales targets.</li> <li>Ability to develop business strategies that drive growth.</li> <li>Excellent communication and leadership skills.</li> <li>Experience in account management and customer service is preferred.</li> <li>Ability to travel at least 50% of the time is required.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> <p><em>The annual salary range for this position is between <strong>$80,000 - $100,000.</strong>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em><strong>Benefits: </strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>401(k) matching<br>Dental Insurance<br>Medical insurance (100% employer-paid option!)<br>Vision insurance<br>Paid time off (18 days of PTO per year, plus 2 floating holidays and 9 recognized company holidays!)<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <br><strong>Work location &amp; travel requirements:</strong> This position is remote, but travel is a core part of the job. Expect frequent travel within the contiguous U.S., plus regular time in NYC. This role requires a high degree of schedule flexibility. Candidates should be located near a major airport and able to travel with limited advance notice as business needs arise.
