Operations Crew Member, Part-Time at Kia Forum

<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Operations Crew Member position is responsible for preparing the Forum for all events. The Crew Members’ main tasks include event set-up, tear down, changeovers, and daily operational work related to concerts, sporting, meetings, and other events that take place at the Forum. Crew Members may also assist with assembly of furniture, pickups and deliveries, and movement of various equipment throughout the facility.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Principal Duties and Responsibilities</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Responsible for the physical setup of all areas around the venue including flooring, chairs, tables, walls, staging, furnishings, and equipment.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Actively care for all venue equipment and property by storing equipment properly, cleaning and repairing broken or damaged items, and alerting management of any mistreatment of property.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Install and remove various large heavy components utilized for concerts and other types of events.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain organized storage areas assigned, as well as stock supplies throughout the building.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Respond and resolve set-up issues promptly as directed by fellow staff and management.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">May be required to operate industrial vehicles such as pallet jack, forklifts, and other lifting equipment.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Perform other duties as assigned.</span></p> </li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Qualifications</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Experience and/or training in the public assembly facility management industry is a plus.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as business requires.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Understand verbal and written instructions in English.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Communicate effectively with internal staff and external clients.</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Employee will frequently communicate via radio and in-person with others and exchange accurate information.</span></p> </li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Special Requirements of the Job</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">This position requires frequent bending, ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods of time, exposure to multiple external elements, and extensive walking through the building.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;
