Translate vision into actionable technical milestones and delivery plans. </li> <li>Design and build cloud-native systems on AWS: Architect and implement solutions using core AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.) with a focus on performance, reliability, scalability, and cost optimization. </li> <li>Enable AI/ML and LLM-powered systems: Architect and support systems leveraging Python and modern ML/LLM frameworks (currently using Ray and Sagemaker); collaborate with Data Science and AI teams to productionize model serving, inference pipelines, and scalable compute workloads.</li> <li>Champion backend and API architecture: Guide and contribute hands-on to backend systems using Node.js and Python; define API standards, data contracts, security practices, and performance benchmarks.</li> <li>Act as a hands-on technical leader: Write production-grade code when needed, review architecture and PRs, unblock teams, and raise the overall engineering bar through best practices.</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Leadership to align architecture decisions with business priorities, timelines, and constraints.</li> <li>Ensure operational excellence: Establish standards for monitoring, logging, incident response, resilience, and continuous improvement across platforms and services. </li> </ul> Equipped to Excel (Qualifications) <ul> <li>5–8+ years of relevant professional experience in software engineering and system architecture, with demonstrable ownership of complex, production-grade systems. </li> <li>Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, including designing and operating scalable cloud architecture and understanding trade-offs across services, cost, and performance.</li> <li>Deep experience with Kubernetes and containerization, including deployment, scaling, networking, and observability in real-world environments.</li> <li>Proficiency in backend development using Node.js and Python, with a solid grasp of system design, concurrency, and performance optimization.</li> <li>Experience with distributed computing and ML infrastructure, including Ray and exposure to LLM-based systems or AI-driven architectures.</li> <li>Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices: CI/CD, IAC, version control, automated testing, and secure development practices.</li> <li>Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including engineers, product managers, and leadership teams, to deliver complex initiatives.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving and architectural thinking skills, with the ability to balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability. </li> </ul> Distinct by Design (What Sets You Apart)  <ul> <li>Ownership-driven mindset with a proven track record of delivering against an architecture roadmap and being accountable for outcomes, not just designs. </li> <li>Highly hands-on architect who is comfortable rolling up sleeves, building alongside teams, and making pragmatic decisions when required.</li> <li>Collaborative and humble leader who values diverse perspectives, mentors others, and creates psychological safety within teams.</li> <li>Innovative and curious thinker who stays current with evolving technologies (cloud, AI/LLMs, distributed systems) and applies them thoughtfully.</li> <li>Clear and confident communicator who can explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Strong organizational and prioritization skills, able to manage multiple initiatives in fast-paced, evolving environments.</li> <li>High integrity and professionalism, with a bias toward long-term impact over short-term wins.</li> <li>Dynamic, adaptable, and growth-oriented, approaching challenges with a problem-solving and “figure-it-out” attitude. </li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">Your Next Chapter If you’re excited about helping clients succeed, love the idea of working at the forefront of marketing innovation, and want to be part of a team where integrity, respect, innovation, urgency, and accountability aren’t just words — they’re how we show up every day — then let’s talk. <div>Work Environment:</div> <div>We offer a mix of remote and hybrid working.
