Join us and discover what it means to work for a company that truly values its people.  </div>Construction Safety Professional Spring House, PA | Full-Time | Pharmaceutical Construction Project Compliance Management International (CMI) is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Specialist to support a high-profile pharmaceutical construction project in Spring House, PA. This is a hands-on field position working alongside General Contractors, trade partners, and project leadership to ensure a safe, compliant, and productive job site. Whether your experience is as a Construction Safety Specialist, Construction Safety Manager, Site Safety Manager, Site Safety Coordinator, Safety Consultant, SSHO (Site Safety & Health Officer), or Construction Safety Professional, we encourage you to apply. What You'll Do As the on-site safety professional, you'll play a critical role in protecting workers while helping the project stay safe, compliant, and on schedule. Responsibilities include: <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Serve as the primary safety resource for the General Contractor, subcontractors, and project team.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform daily site walks, safety inspections, audits, and field observations.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and verify issues are resolved.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead and support Pre-Task Planning (PTPs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), permit programs, and incident investigations.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Deliver new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and task-specific safety training.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Coach supervisors and craft personnel on OSHA regulations and safe work practices.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Build positive relationships with field teams while promoting a strong, proactive safety culture.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Participate in daily coordination meetings and project safety planning.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards and client-specific safety requirements.</li> <li>Maintain accurate inspection reports, safety documentation, and project metrics.</li> </ul> Qualifications Required <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of construction safety experience supporting active construction projects.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience supporting pharmaceutical construction is strongly preferred.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (completed within the past five years).</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence field personnel.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent hazard recognition, risk assessment, and problem-solving abilities.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic safety management systems.</li> </ul> Preferred <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">CHST, STS-C, OSHA 500, or other construction safety certifications.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Degree in Occupational Safety or a related field.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience on pharmaceutical, life sciences, industrial, commercial, or mission-critical construction projects.</li> </ul> Work Environment This is a field-based position requiring daily presence on an active construction site. Responsibilities include: <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Standing and walking for extended periods</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Climbing ladders and working at heights</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Entering confined spaces when required</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Navigating uneven terrain</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Lifting up to 30 pounds</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Working in varying weather conditions</li> </ul> Additional Requirements <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules based on project needs.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Reliable transportation.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Spring House, PA.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Per diem and travel assistance are not available for this position.</li> </ul> Why CMI?
