The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) plays a key role in providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients through assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management. This position works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver high-quality, patient-centered mental health services. Location: Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner role is remote; however, the option of being based at evolvedMD’s corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona is available. Compensation (based on 40 hours per week) <ul> <li>First-year compensation $125,000 to $150,000 annually (DOE)</li> <li>Metric-driven bonus up to 20% annually</li> <li>$1200 annual technology allowance</li> <li>401(k) with up to 3% company match</li> </ul> About You <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with an active, unrestricted license in Arizona (may be required to obtain a medical license in other states as necessary)</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Active DEA license and eligibility to prescribe psychiatric medications.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">At least 1 year of experience in direct psychiatric patient care (preferred: 3+ years).</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Bilingual Spanish/English speaking is highly preferred.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience working with both adult and youth populations.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong clinical skills in psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and treatment planning.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care providers, social workers, and therapists.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) documentation and telehealth services (if applicable).</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate patients, families, and care teams.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to ethical and legal standards in mental health care.</li> </ul> About the job <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with behavioral health disorders.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Provide medication management, including prescribing, adjusting, and discontinuing psychotropic medications as appropriate.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with behavioral health clinicians and primary care providers to support integrated care.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment as needed based on clinical outcomes.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Participate in case reviews and contribute to care team meetings to discuss complex cases and optimize treatment strategies.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Provide education and consultation to healthcare providers regarding psychopharmacology and behavioral health management.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain compliance with state and federal laws, insurance requirements, and professional credentialing requirements.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">In-person travel may be necessary at times for team gatherings, trainings or onsite consultation with primary care facilities.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">About Us At evolvedMD, we are leading the integration of behavioral health services in modern primary care.
