With <strong>no ER duties, no on-call, a reliable schedule </strong>and opportunities to mentor as desired, this is an exciting opportunity for a surgeon looking for excellent quality of life in an engaging, culture-forward environment.</p> <p>The next member of Bond’s expanded specialty services will provide specialty-level surgery consultations and procedures to our large network of pets and pet parents, as well as to external hospital referrals. A pilot program for outpatient surgery has been a massive success, and we are ready to expand our offerings and help more pets.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform soft tissue and orthopedic procedures on an outpatient basis</li> <li>Perform consultations for Bond clients as well as referrals from external hospitals</li> <li>Partner with our Bond General Practice and Urgent care providers, creating a complete ecosystem for surgery and long term follow up</li> <li>[As Interested} Engage in our active teaching programs to help new graduates learn surgery and our experienced practitioners hone their skills (this will include philanthropy opportunities!)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Veterinary Medical Degree (DVM/VMD or foreign equivalent)</li> <li>Board certification or residency-trained and licensed in good standing or be able to obtain licensure to practice as a veterinary professional in New York and/or New Jersey State.&nbsp;</li> <li>DEA licensure and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certificate if needed for all states for clinics under supervision.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why Bond Vet</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Doctor-led company with a collaborative, supportive culture.</li> <li>Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.</li> <li>Opportunities to shape and influence the growth of a rapidly expanding, mission-driven organization.</li> <li>Mission with community impact. Exact salary will be dependent on the candidate’s schedule, skills, location and experience level.
