In this role, you’ll partner with internal and external collaborators across multiple disciplines to successfully deliver game features and technology.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated and demonstrated team player with stellar communication and time management skills, as well as a deep desire to expand their knowledge of all areas of game development. Production experience within the games industry is preferred for this role, but it’s not mandatory; we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements listed below!</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Work Location: Due to specific project expectations for this role, we are only able to consider candidates willing to work in person from our office in Saratoga Springs, NY. This is not a hybrid or remote position. However, Rushdown is willing to offer relocation assistance for successful candidates located outside of a reasonable commuting distance.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Represent the project and Rushdown by serving as the bridge between our studio and our partners.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Work with teams to create project roadmaps, milestone breakdowns, and sprint plans.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Define, run, and improve processes to ensure project health and team wellbeing.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proactively identify and propose ways to mitigate project risks.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Work with distributed teams across multiple time zones.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Help manage relationships with multiple project partners.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Serve as an advocate and support for internal team members.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Requirements</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Two (2) or more years of experience in production or project management.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of game industry-standard software tools, design documents, and production processes and best practices.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">High-level time management skills with the ability to focus on priorities, manage change, and deliver against agreed deadlines.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven problem-solving and mediation skills.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Great communication skills that lead to proactive and effective solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Sound decision-making capabilities with a demonstrable ability to think outside the box.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Nice-to-Haves</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong background with Jira, Confluence, Notion, or similar project management tools.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience managing software engineering teams.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Benefits:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Compensation: $45,000-65,000/year.
