We are looking for a Material Handler to join our growing team.</p> <p><em>Location - Onsite at our Burr Ridge production facility</em></p> <p><em>Shift - This is a first shift role and will typically be Monday - Friday from 4:30am - 1:00pm</em></p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p>The Material Handler / Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating stand up forklifts to transport, load, and unload materials within warehouses, production areas, or shipping docks.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Operate a stand-up forklift truck in a warehouse environment with pedestrians and other forklift trucks</li> <li>Keep the order picking lines operational with timely product restocks</li> <li>Accurately receive and safely put away inbound finished goods and supply deliveries</li> <li>Track inventory with RF scanners and Warehouse Management System (WMS)</li> <li>Ensure proper stock rotation and First-In First-Out (FIFO) process</li> <li>Train on the Burr Ridge receiving process&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience &amp; Skills we value:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma, GED, or other relevant work experience</li> <li>Minimum 1 year prior experience and certification on a forklift&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience safely operating a stand-up forklift a plus (will train on-site)&nbsp;</li> <li>The ability to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs of materials</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have and/or you’ll learn:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lean Manufacturing experience (5S / Six Sigma)</li> <li>Experience working with a WMS, ERP, or other inventory management system</li> <li>OSHA or other formal safety training</li> </ul> <p><strong>Equal Pay Disclosure(s):</strong></p> <p>We’re on a mission to create more joy in people’s lives, and that includes our internal employees.
