We are seeking an experienced and strategic educational leader who is passionate about faculty development, instructional quality, accreditation compliance, and improving educational outcomes within a higher education and career-focused learning environment.</p> <p data-start="727" data-end="992">This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and results-driven leader to make a meaningful impact on student achievement, faculty performance, and institutional effectiveness while helping shape the future of postsecondary and vocational education programs.</p> <p data-start="994" data-end="1014"><strong data-start="994" data-end="1014">POSITION PURPOSE</strong></p> <p data-start="1016" data-end="1468">We are actively seeking a strategic and experienced <strong data-start="1068" data-end="1115">Director of Education &amp; Academic Operations</strong> to lead and oversee academic programs, faculty development, curriculum compliance, and instructional quality. This role is responsible for ensuring all educational operations align with <strong data-start="1302" data-end="1367">Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC)</strong> standards, state education regulations, institutional policies, and higher education best practices.</p> <p data-start="1470" data-end="1800">The ideal candidate is a dynamic educational leader with expertise in <strong data-start="1540" data-end="1703">curriculum management, faculty coaching, accreditation compliance, instructional effectiveness, workforce development, and continuous institutional improvement</strong> within higher education, postsecondary, vocational, technical, or career education environments.</p> <p data-start="1802" data-end="2167">As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Education &amp; Academic Operations will collaborate closely with campus leadership, corporate academic teams, program coordinators, and faculty to promote <strong data-start="2010" data-end="2134">academic excellence, student retention, accreditation readiness, operational effectiveness, and student success outcomes</strong> across all educational programs.</p> <p data-start="2169" data-end="2339">This role oversees instructional quality initiatives and supports faculty performance, professional development, and continuous improvement efforts throughout the campus.</p> <p data-start="2341" data-end="2365"><strong data-start="2341" data-end="2365">KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <p data-start="2367" data-end="2403"><strong data-start="2367" data-end="2403">Academic Leadership &amp; Compliance</strong></p> <ul data-start="2404" data-end="2908"> <li data-section-id="1i8ae1i" data-start="2404" data-end="2495">Serve as the primary liaison between the campus and corporate education leadership teams.</li> <li data-section-id="1sm3xab" data-start="2496" data-end="2651">Ensure all instructional practices, faculty training, and academic operations comply with ACCSC standards, state regulations, and institutional policies.</li> <li data-section-id="1ui77e" data-start="2652" data-end="2813">Audit academic programs, curricula, lesson plans, syllabi, and instructional materials to ensure instructors are utilizing the most current approved resources.</li> <li data-section-id="uqd6sj" data-start="2814" data-end="2908">Support institutional readiness for accreditation reviews, audits, and regulatory reporting.</li> </ul> <p data-start="2910" data-end="2960"><strong data-start="2910" data-end="2960">Faculty Development &amp; Instructional Excellence</strong></p> <ul data-start="2961" data-end="3365"> <li data-section-id="1wcpvrs" data-start="2961" data-end="3064">Lead faculty onboarding and instructor training in accordance with ACCSC and institutional standards.</li> <li data-section-id="hs6n1y" data-start="3065" data-end="3177">Conduct regular classroom observations and provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to instructors.</li> <li data-section-id="1j86qr" data-start="3178" data-end="3300">Facilitate ongoing professional development and instructional improvement initiatives for faculty and educational staff.</li> <li data-section-id="1eavwyz" data-start="3301" data-end="3365">Serve as a substitute instructor when operationally necessary.</li> </ul> <p data-start="3367" data-end="3405"><strong data-start="3367" data-end="3405">Performance Management &amp; Reporting</strong></p> <ul data-start="3406" data-end="3668"> <li data-section-id="1k63i8h" data-start="3406" data-end="3491">Create, maintain, and monitor Faculty Personnel Reports (FPRs) for all instructors.</li> <li data-section-id="1k6gq2y" data-start="3492" data-end="3584">Conduct and document instructor performance audits and evaluations at least semi-annually.</li> <li data-section-id="1yfro49" data-start="3585" data-end="3668">Track educational outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <p data-start="3670" data-end="3722"><strong data-start="3670" data-end="3722">Program Coordination &amp; Institutional Improvement</strong></p> <ul data-start="3723" data-end="4169"> <li data-section-id="680ujh" data-start="3723" data-end="3829">Chair Program Coordinator meetings and ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of meeting minutes.</li> <li data-section-id="42dhm7" data-start="3830" data-end="3912">Assist in organizing and facilitating Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings.</li> <li data-section-id="d44gi5" data-start="3913" data-end="4050">Ensure PAC meeting documentation is properly maintained and distributed to corporate academic leadership and regional leadership teams.</li> <li data-section-id="1bsmnh0" data-start="4051" data-end="4169">Collaborate with campus leadership to support student achievement, retention, and instructional quality initiatives.</li> </ul> <p data-start="4171" data-end="4202"><strong data-start="4171" data-end="4202">Additional Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul data-start="4203" data-end="4273"> <li data-section-id="akfh3p" data-start="4203" data-end="4273">Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by leadership.</li> </ul> <p data-start="4275" data-end="4302"><strong data-start="4275" data-end="4302">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul data-start="4304" data-end="5212"> <li data-section-id="li26qq" data-start="4304" data-end="4328"><strong data-start="4306" data-end="4328">Associate’s degree</strong></li> <li data-section-id="13mvm2l" data-start="4329" data-end="4525"><strong data-start="4331" data-end="4389">5+ years of management experience or proven leadership</strong> in a relevant role, demonstrating a track record of effectively guiding teams, driving performance, and achieving organizational goals.</li> <li data-section-id="129hnoc" data-start="4526" data-end="4637">Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.</li> <li data-section-id="t7dxzc" data-start="4638" data-end="4774">Demonstrated expertise in resolving conflicts, fostering positive workplace relationships, and collaborating effectively within teams.</li> <li data-section-id="6rqhzg" data-start="4775" data-end="4830"><strong data-start="4777" data-end="4830">Excellent verbal and written communication skills</strong></li> <li data-section-id="1u7p0mb" data-start="4831" data-end="4990">Capable individual contributor with effective leadership skills; adept at balancing diplomacy and assertiveness to guide teams and manage diverse situations.</li> <li data-section-id="7oqgbt" data-start="4991" data-end="5055"><strong data-start="4993" data-end="5055">Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook</strong></li> <li data-section-id="16mh40x" data-start="5056" data-end="5212">Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required to meet organizational needs and support operational demands.</li> </ul> <p data-start="5214" data-end="5242"><strong data-start="5214" data-end="5242">PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul data-start="5244" data-end="5546"> <li data-section-id="2hhnxm" data-start="5244" data-end="5267"><strong data-start="5246" data-end="5267">Bachelor’s Degree</strong></li> <li data-section-id="50gabo" data-start="5268" data-end="5346">Teaching or instructional experience in higher education or career education</li> <li data-section-id="g0d5zg" data-start="5347" data-end="5446">Experience working in private, career-focused, or for-profit postsecondary education environments</li> <li data-section-id="1gq5b00" data-start="5447" data-end="5495">Familiarity with ACCSC accreditation standards</li> <li data-section-id="1gq5b00" data-start="5447" data-end="5495">Experience with CampusVue and SharePoint systems</li> </ul> <p data-start="5548" data-end="5565"><strong data-start="5548" data-end="5565">WORK SCHEDULE</strong></p> <p data-start="5643" data-end="5799">This is a <strong data-start="5653" data-end="5693">full-time onsite leadership position</strong> requiring flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to support campus and academic operations.</p> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <p>The salary for this position ranges from <strong>90,000- 105,000 per year</strong>, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
