When we fall short, we learn and move forward. </li> </ul></div>Location: Remote - India  Role Description:  We are seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team as a hands-on Individual Contributor with strong Technical Guidance and Mentorship. This role focuses on designing, implementing and evolving secure, scalable IAM systems like AuthN/AuthZ, SSO, MFA etc. The ideal candidate will have a security-first mindset, deep IAM expertise, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver compliant, high-performing identity services. This role reports to Director, Software Development. What you’ll do:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Design & Architecture:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Architect, implement and maintain authentication (AuthN) and authorization (AuthZ) systems. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Build, test, and deploy identity solutions at global scale </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Define IAM standards and best practices for CIAM and workforce identity systems. </li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Security & Compliance:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Champion Zero Trust principles and ensure IAM solutions meet compliance requirements. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Embed security controls and audit capabilities into identity workflows. </li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Technical Guidance and Mentorship:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Act as a senior Individual Contributor driving technical decisions and mentoring engineers. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Influence IAM roadmap and strategy across multiple teams. </li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Integration & Automation:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Implement SSO, MFA, and federation using OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SCIM. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Automate identity lifecycle management with IaC tools (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines. </li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Cross-Functional Collaboration:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Partner with Product, Security, and Platform teams to manage interdependencies and deliver seamless identity experiences. </li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary. </li> </ul> What you’ll bring to the table: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">10+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years’ experience designing and building IAM systems. </li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Technical Skills:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Understanding IAM protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SCIM) and directory services (LDAP/AD). </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficiency in C# as a programming language and IaC tools (Terraform). </li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Soft Skills:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong communication and collaboration skills. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ability to lead technically without direct people management. </li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Preferred Skills:  <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
