<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>Piedmont Door Solutions is looking for a <strong>Business Development Representative </strong>to grow the South Carolina market. This is a field-based, business development role with emphasis on prospecting and building commercial relationships across the territory with the full support of the Columbia, SC operations teams. You'd be joining at an exciting inflection point for the business: 6 consecutive record-breaking quarters, a growing national sales team, and a Florida market that's poised for growth. <li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Own the full sales cycle across the South Carolina territory from cold outreach and prospecting to proposal delivery and close</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Build and grow a pipeline of net-new commercial accounts across key verticals including healthcare, property management, general contractors, and glazers</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Develop lasting relationships with facilities managers, GCs, architects, and property owners as their trusted pedestrian access solutions partner</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Collaborate closely with branch operations and service teams to ensure seamless project delivery and a customer experience that earns repeat business</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Maintain accurate pipeline records and participate in regular sales reviews with branch leadership</li>

<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">5–7 years of outside sales or business development experience in commercial B2B identifying and closing on new opportunities</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Background in commercial doors, access control, glazing/Division 8, building materials, HVAC, or adjacent construction/facilities sectors</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">The ability to work independently in a field-based role and manage a large territory without being managed</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage decision-makers at any level</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Valid driver's license with a clean record</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered</li>
