<p>The Integrated Fire and Security Solutions Coral Springs, FL branch is seeking experienced Senior Security & Alarm Service Technicians to join our team! This role focuses on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of advanced security systems - including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection (IDS), with additional exposure to fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have a heavy security background, proven experience in installations, and familiarity with fire alarm technologies. </p>
<p>Service area is primarily the Miami-Dade region.</p>

<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Lead and execute installation of security systems (CCTV, access control, IDS) and assist with fire alarm systems as needed.</li>
<li>Interpret blueprints and update as-built documentation accurately.</li>
<li>Ensure all equipment and materials are staged and ready for installation.</li>
<li>Identify and resolve field modifications or scope gaps to maintain project integrity.</li>
<li>Verify compliance with NEC, NFPA, and local codes for security and fire systems.</li>
<li>Conduct on-site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.</li>
<li>Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices through training and certifications.</li>
<li>Maintain clear communication with internal teams, contractors, and clients for smooth project execution.</li>
<li>Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance on complex installations.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications</strong></p>
<p></p>
<ul>
<li>4+ years of experience in the low-voltage industry, with a strong focus on security systems (CCTV, access control, IDS).</li>
<li>Fire alarm experience is a plus.</li>
<li>High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications preferred.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of security and fire system codes and standards.</li>
<li>Excellent time management, organizational, and leadership skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and within a team environment.</li>
<li>Valid Florida Fire Alarm License (FASA/BASA) or ability to obtain it.</li>
<li>Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements.</li>
<li>Proficiency with technology tools and system programming.</li>
<li>Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including holding a valid driver’s license and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record.</li>

<li>BS degree or Technical School Certification in electronics, security systems, or related field.</li>
<li>Manufacturer certifications for major security systems.</li>
<li>NICET certification for fire alarm systems.</li>

Physical activities can include reaching, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Field positions may involve heavy lifting, working in varying climates (including outdoor conditions), construction or low-voltage environments, and exposure to dust, noise, or confined spaces. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required. Some roles may require travel.</em></span></p>
