<p class="p1">Opportunity:</p>
<p class="p1">We are seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to join our engineering organization in Santa Clara, CA. In this role, you will drive the development of products spanning hardware, software, and integrated systems, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle. As a key member of our engineering group, you will collaborate closely with the Engineering and Marketing teams to plan, manage schedules, and mitigate project risks e<span class="s1">ff</span>ectively.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Drive Systems/Hardware/Software engineering planning processes on a yearly/quarterly basis.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Collaborate with engineering managers and technical leads to manage programs/projects at various lifecycle stages.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Scope projects, allocate resources, define milestones, and manage commitments.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Lead the delivery of complex hardware, firmware, and software products against program schedules, communicating technical risks and their impact.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Collaborate with the supply chain to mitigate risks associated with long lead components.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Manage deliverables from consultants and external vendors during design, development,</p>
<p class="p1">testing, validation, and sustaining phases of the product lifecycle.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Lead cross-functional teams, facilitate scrums, and resolve obstacles as they arise.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Report project progress to managers and executives, ensuring transparency and accountability.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the highest possible quality releases.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Coordinate successful releases of cloud software and/or hando<span class="s1">ff</span>s from engineering to manufacturing in collaboration with product and operations teams.</p>
<p class="p1">Required Skills and Qualifications:</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> B.S. degree in Physics, Engineering, or other related technical field. M.S. preferred.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> 8+ years of Program/Project Management experience, with a strong emphasis on vertically integrated products across hardware, firmware, and cloud software.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> 3+ years of industry experience in program/project management for scientific, analytical, or medical instrumentation products.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Proficiency in high-level project management and communication tools (e.g., Gantt charts, dashboards).</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Experience with interdepartmental interactions, including Marketing, Engineering, and Operations.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) of Hardware/Software products and manufacturing hand-o<span class="s1">ff</span> processes.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Experience managing supplier relationships throughout the product development lifecycle.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Demonstrated proficiency and interest in coordinating hardware build schedules (EVT, DVT, PVT) with agile development processes across data analytics and subscription cloud software.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Familiarity with Agile principles and their application to product development.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Advanced oral and written communication skills.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> Experience with developing and validating manufacturing processes is a plus. </p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> PMP/Agile certification is a plus.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s2">•</span> An in-depth understanding of instrumentation/spectrometry/gas sensing technologies is a plus.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>Salary & Benefits:</strong></p>
<p class="p1">The base salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 - $185,000 USD. Your base salary range and the title will be determined based on the location, experience, qualification, skills, knowledge, level, and pay of employees in similar positions.</p>
