In this role it will be critical to embrace WPP &amp; WPP Media’s shared core values:</p> <ul> <li>Be&nbsp;<strong>Extraordinary</strong>&nbsp;by&nbsp;<em>Leading Collectively</em>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<em>Inspire transformational Creativity.</em></li> <li>Create an&nbsp;<strong>Open</strong>&nbsp;environment by<em>&nbsp;Balancing People and Client Experiences</em>&nbsp;by&nbsp;<em>Cultivating Trust</em>.</li> <li>Lead&nbsp;<strong>Optimistically</strong>&nbsp;by&nbsp;<em>Championing Growth</em>&nbsp;<em>and Development</em>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<em>Mobilize the Enterprise</em>.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>The Assistant Media Buyer will work within the Investment team to help accomplish the effective delivery of buy recommendations and negotiations in broadcast and potentially digital media for assigned clients.</p> <p><strong><u>Key Accountabilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Enter buys into proprietary system (MediaOcean and Prisma) and maintain broadcast buys</li> <li>Ongoing management and stewardship of campaigns</li> <li>Assist with client financials such as budget reconciliation and budget management –resolve discrepancies with billing coordinators</li> <li>Keep up to date on all communications with the Client Service Team including buy authorizations, tracking reports, buy changes, creative specifications etc.</li> <li>Post campaigns and monitor campaign delivery</li> <li>Generate campaign reports – including pre and post documents, Masterfiles</li> <li>Use Mediacom Proprietary tool and other measurement software (Numeris)</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;<u>Skills &amp; Behaviours:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to learn quickly and multi-task</li> <li>Must work collaboratively</li> <li>Positive disposition with the ability to work under tight deadlines</li> <li>Detail, accuracy and mathematical competency a must</li> <li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel</li> <li>Solid organizational skills</li> <li>Driven desire to develop and excel in media career</li> <li>Ability to balance assignments while maintaining a flexible approach</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Education and Experience:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Internship in an agency is an asset.</li> <li>College or University education will be an asset.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Life at WPP Media &amp; Benefits</strong></p> <p>Our passion for shaping the next era of media includes investing in our employees to help them do their best work, and we’re just as committed to employee growth as we are to responsible media investment.
