Principal Product Manager at UiPath
About the Role
Life at UiPath
The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.
To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.
Could that be you?
Your mission
You'll own one of the platform layers that powers agentic automation. This is a layer that every other product on the platform - agents, workflows, and RPA - depends on to do its job. Your charter is to make it the obvious, trusted choice for developers and customers in the agentic era, and to prove that value with real production adoption.
This is a hands-on role that pairs high autonomy with high accountability. You will set the vision, own the roadmap, get into the technical design with engineering, sit in customer conversations directly, and carry your story all the way into the field.
The platform you'll shape
You'll join the team building the foundational layers of UiPath's agentic platform, the layers every agent, process, and workflow depends on.
Data Fabric - the data and context layer. Gives agents and workflows governed, real-time access to enterprise data, modeling raw records into business entities and a shared semantic layer automations can reason over. The work ahead: turning data into connected context agents can navigate.
Human-in-the-Loop - the human-judgment layer. Whenever an agent, process, or workflow needs a person to review, approve, or handle an exception, it brings the right human in: designing the review interface, routing the task, and delivering it wherever people work. The work ahead: making it first-class for the agentic era.
What you'll do at UiPath
Own the vision and roadmap for your platform layer, making sharp tradeoff decisions on complex, ambiguous problems, and proposing a clear path forward rather than just surfacing the ambiguity.
Drive go-to-market. Partner with marketing and sales on positioning, enablement, and demos; create demand and get your wins in front of the field and customers.
Be the customer's champion. Engage directly in account conversations, get deep into real scenarios, and turn what you learn into validated use cases and roadmap decisions.
Own outcomes end to end. Take accountability from problem definition through launch, adoption, and the metrics that prove value (e.g. production adoption, task success rate, agent reliability).
Get technical. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering on design decisions, dogfood the product yourself, and stay credible on the underlying technology.
Make it agent-ready. Translate the fast-moving agent landscape (LLMs, coding agents, orchestration frameworks, MCP, evals) into a coherent UiPath point of view and a shipping product.
Raise the bar for the broader product team through thought leadership, a strong point of view in forums, and mentoring.
What you'll bring to the team
8+ years of product management on technical / platform / developer products, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
A builder's instinct. You've shipped infrastructure that other builders rely on, and you'd rather prototype and dogfood than write a spec and wait.
Technical depth. You go deep on technical design with engineering and are comfortable in the product yourself, not just managing from the roadmap.
Hands-on with AI, not conceptual. You have built or integrated AI/ML into live products yourself, and you use LLM-based tools (copilots, coding agents, prototyping tools) in your own daily work. Building products for - and with - agents is a fundamental expectation.
A genuine customer-champion mindset. You seek out direct customer conversations and let real scenarios drive what you build.
GTM drive. You've created demand and driven adoption, not just delivered features - and you can tell a clear "why" and "what" story to any audience.
Crisp, decision-rich communication and the ability to influence across engineering, design, sales, and marketing without authority.
Bias to ownership and action - you take ambiguous, high-stakes problems and drive them to a result with minimal direction.
Nice to have :
Experience with data platforms, knowledge graphs / semantic / ontology layers, or human-in-the-loop / workflow systems.
Built or shipped products in the agentic / AI space.
Background that combines engineering and product.
