Internal Alternative Investment Specialist - Analyst / Associate at iCapital

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>iCapital’s Portfolio Management team is looking to hire an Associate Internal Alternative Investment Specialist to support a new series of accredited investor-focused offerings created in partnership with some of the world’s leading alternative assets managers.&nbsp; This individual will be part of a small team tasked with raising capital for these offerings in partnership with iCapital’s Alternatives Distribution team, the asset manager, and on a standalone basis.&nbsp; The target clients for such capital-raising efforts are independent broker dealers, registered investment advisors, private banks and wire-houses.&nbsp; This role will report to the Head of Registered Fund Solutions Sales.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Make daily sales calls to strengthen relationships and proactively uncover new opportunities.</li> <li>Partner with field sales specialists to execute territory strategies and drive sales growth.</li> <li>Deliver high‑quality support by resolving inquiries and account issues in partnership with the Investor Relations team.</li> <li>Develop a deep understanding of key alternative investment platforms and product availability.</li> <li>Gain full proficiency in product features and sub‑strategies to support wholesaling and product specialist needs.</li> <li>Use CRM tools to track activities, analyze data, and formulate engagement strategies.</li> <li>Travel to attend industry events and meet with key clients and prospects as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>2-5+ years of client‑facing experience in the financial services industry</li> <li>Knowledge of capital markets and alternative investments</li> <li>Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Self‑starter with strong initiative who thrives in a fast‑paced environment</li> <li>Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and team improvement</li> <li>Series 7 and 63 licenses are required</li> <li>Must obtain CAIA within 2-3 years of hire</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <p>The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $115,000.&nbsp; iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
