Defines and evaluates process flows, identifies operational constraints, develops improvement scenarios, and prepares structured inputs for facility, warehouse, or manufacturing modeling.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The work:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Operational Data Preparation: </strong>Lead the gathering and validation of operational datasets across manufacturing lines, storage systems, material handling, workforce patterns, quality issues, and facility constraints.</li> <li><strong>Process &amp; Performance Analysis: </strong>Conduct in‑depth Industrial engineering analysis—including time studies, throughput modeling, labor and equipment utilization, workflow bottlenecks, and quality/performance diagnostics—across factory or warehouse environments.</li> <li><strong>Scenario &amp; Model Input Leadership: </strong>Define and structure model inputs such as layouts, constraints, resource requirements, shift patterns, throughput assumptions, and quality parameters; run scenario analyses and interpret operational implications.</li> <li><strong>Visualization &amp; Reporting: </strong>Develop decision‑ready visuals and narrative summaries that clearly communicate findings and operational recommendations</li> <li><strong>Documentation &amp; Mapping: </strong>Maintain detailed process maps, facility layouts, SOPs, and operational assumptions that support modeling, modernization, and continuous‑improvement activities.</li> <li><strong>Cross‑Functional Leadership: </strong>Lead engagements with manufacturing, quality, engineering, warehousing, and logistics teams to gather requirements, clarify operational realities, and shape analytical or modernization approaches.</li> <li><strong>Team Leadership &amp; Quality: </strong>Guide junior analysts, review work outputs, and ensure analytical and operational rigor across facility/IE workstreams.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p> <p><strong>Here’s what you need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>4–8 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, warehousing, distribution, quality engineering, or facilities/process improvement (Exposure to DoD depots, arsenals, logistics centers, or maintenance facilities may offset required years of experience)</li> <li>Demonstrated success leading IE or operations workstreams (time studies, throughput/flow modeling, labor standards, facility layout evaluations, bottleneck analysis, quality investigations).</li> <li>Experience preparing structured inputs for facility, warehouse, or manufacturing models; familiarity with simulation or facility/digital‑twin tools preferred.</li> <li>Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with SQL or analytics tooling (Python/R) is a plus.</li> <li>Experience supporting or advising stakeholders and presenting operational recommendations.
