<p>Position Summary</p>

<p>We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer to support the development, validation, and performance optimization of diesel engine aftertreatment systems. This individual will play a key role in testing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and improving emissions control technologies including SCR, DPF, DOC, and DEF/urea systems.</p>

<p>The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge of diesel emissions and aftertreatment systems with hands-on experience in testing, validation, data analysis, and root cause investigation. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and testing organizations to ensure system performance and compliance requirements are achieved.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Key Responsibilities</p>
<ul>
<li>Support development and validation of diesel engine aftertreatment systems and emissions control technologies.</li>
<li>Evaluate performance of SCR, DPF, DOC, DEF, and related emissions reduction systems.</li>
<li>Conduct testing and validation activities on engines, vehicles, and laboratory test setups.</li>
<li>Analyze test data and identify performance issues, trends, and optimization opportunities.</li>
<li>Perform root cause analysis and lead troubleshooting efforts related to emissions system performance.</li>
<li>Investigate failures and develop corrective actions through structured problem-solving methodologies.</li>
<li>Work with calibration, controls, validation, and product engineering teams to improve system performance.</li>
<li>Collect and analyze signals from vehicle and engine testing activities.</li>
<li>Support emissions compliance and performance verification initiatives.</li>
<li>Interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and drive improvements.</li>
<li>Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to engineering and leadership teams.</li>
</ul>

<p>Required Qualifications</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.</li>
<li>3+ years of experience in diesel engines, emissions systems, aftertreatment systems, or powertrain validation.</li>
<li>Experience with one or more of the following:</li>
<li>SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction)</li>
<li>DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter)</li>
<li>DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst)</li>
<li>DEF/Urea systems</li>
<li>Diesel emissions systems</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.</li>
<li>Experience analyzing engineering test data and developing technical recommendations.</li>
<li>Familiarity with testing and validation processes.</li>
<li>Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred Qualifications</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with calibration tools such as ETAS INCA or CANape.</li>
<li>Experience with CAN-based tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, Vehicle Spy, or similar.</li>
<li>Diesel engine performance, combustion, or aftertreatment development experience.</li>
<li>Experience supporting engine, vehicle, or emissions testing programs.</li>
<li>Knowledge of catalyst technologies, coatings, substrates, chemical reactions, or emissions reduction strategies.</li>
<li>Experience working with suppliers and external testing partners.</li>
<li>Background in emissions compliance, certification, or regulatory validation.</li>
</ul>
