Bilingual Pediatric Speech Therapist/Evaluator for Preschool age children (CPSE)   Details about this opportunity:     Location: Islandia and/or Riverhead Status: Fee for Service Hours: Monda-Friday, flexible scheduling Compensation: $180-$185/ bilingual evaluation **Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. Team members receive paid sick and safe leave consistent with state and local regulations to support their health, family, and safety needs.   Responsibilities:  <ul> <li>Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for your caseload  </li> <li>Administer and write up speech and language evaluations  </li> <li>Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management </li> <li>Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals</li> <li>Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs </li> <li>Create and maintain schedule with assigned individual families/school personnel</li> <li>Collect data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly </li> <li>Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews </li> </ul>      Responsibilities for Evaluations:  <ul> <li>Perform comprehensive evaluations in clinic, home and/or preschool based settings  </li> <li>Write detailed speech and language evaluation reports demonstrating the child’s abilities and areas of difficulties   </li> <li>Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and the evaluation team   </li> <li>Develop appropriate functional goals using IEP direct </li> </ul>    About You:  If you have these attributes:  <ul> <li>Passionate to work with children and their families </li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li> <li>Strong ability to collaborate with various professionals </li> <li>Self-starter and independent problem solver </li> <li>Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail </li> <li>Sterling values, high integrity, empathetic and considerate </li> <li>Ability to function well in a high-paced and dynamic environment </li> <li>Flexible thinker with the ability to pivot when necessary </li> <li>Must be a team player </li> <li>Life-long learner who is committed to personal development </li> </ul>     And this background:  <ul> <li>Current NYS Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist </li> <li>NYSED Certifications: TSSLD or TSHH </li> <li>Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) </li> <li>Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families. </li> <li>Must be Bilingual (English/Spaish)</li> </ul>   Then we are looking forward to receiving your resume!     ** Disclaimer: Please note the most current compensation information for all open positions at Family of Kidz can be found on our careers page at FamilyofKidz.com, which supersedes all other sources and job sites.  <div class="content-conclusion"><div> Why Join our Family?  </div> <div> Since 1998, Family of Kidz has brought together highly qualified teams of professionals who work diligently to help children with special needs, from birth to adulthood.
