This critical role involves a blend of UX research and product design responsibilities focused on developing legal intelligence products for Fortune 500 companies. You'll be diving deep into understanding how enterprise users interact with AI-powered technology and translating these insights into compelling, user-friendly designs. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Create and refine design mock-ups and prototypes, utilizing tools such as Figma, to bring concepts to life and facilitate user envisioning.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, ensuring designs are both technically feasible and aligned with business objectives.</li> <li>Continuously advocate for user-centric design approaches throughout the development process, ensuring the final product resonates with the target audience.</li> <li>Develop and present product marketing materials that summarize insights from research activities, effectively communicating the value proposition to customers.</li> <li>Undertake regular customer interviews and time and motion studies with design partners to gather feedback, validate prototypes, and gain a thorough understanding of user behavior.</li> <li>Synthesize research findings into actionable insights, shaping the development of intuitive, user-centered designs.</li> <li>When needed, conduct comprehensive UX research to deeply understand the behaviors, preferences, concerns, and workflows of lawyers, utilizing methods like surveys, focus groups, field studies, usability tests, and 1:1 interviews.</li> </ul>   <h3>Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li>At least 5 years of experience in UX design, preferably within technology or legal technology sectors.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality products in ambiguous and deadline-driven environments.</li> <li>Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user-centered design.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma).</li> <li>A passion for AI, legal technology, transformation, or disruptive service models.</li> <li>Relevant academic background in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or similar fields.</li> <li>Ability and willingness to work on-site in our Palo Alto office five days per week.</li> </ul> <h3>Compensation Range: $170K - $240K</h3> The posted salary range is based on our research for companies of our stage and size while in compliance with California law. This is a base salary compensation range and we encourage those who are interested to apply and have an initial discussion.
