QA Lead - Magic The Gathering Online at Daybreak Game Company LLC

<p><strong>Position Title: </strong>QA Lead</p> <p><strong>Studio/Department:</strong> Quality Assurance</p> <p><strong>Employee Type:</strong> Full Time</p> <p><strong>Location</strong>:<strong> </strong>Renton, WA/Remote (Daybreak Approved Remote Locations (CA, WA, TX, NY))</p> <p><strong>Salary Range: </strong>$45,000 - $60,000, pay may vary on location.&nbsp;</p> <p><br><strong>Description</strong></p> <p>The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for coordinating testing of Magic the Gathering Online. Providing support for the development teams on planning testing for Content and Feature releases, supporting Live Ops and directing the QA team on day-to-day operations. This position reports to the Senior Producer.</p> <ul> <li>Create Test Plans for Content and Feature Releases</li> <li>Collaborate with the development team on Test Coverage and Risk assessment</li> <li>Coordinate QA team tasks and direction</li> <li>Support Community and Customer Support teams on investigation of player reports</li> <li>Work on Iterative Process improvement with Producers</li> <li>Advocate for the player experience by giving qualitative feedback</li> <li>Support Live Releases and Emergencies on the Live Environment</li> <li>Experience working with outsourced testers</li> </ul> <p>Leader In Craft</p> <ul> <li>Modern Techniques: Proficient in QA Methodologies and best practices</li> <li>Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication</li> <li>Proactive: Raises visibility on issues</li> <li>Experience: 4 &nbsp;years of quality assurance</li> <li>Knowledge: Deep Understanding of Magic the Gathering Rules and Gameplay</li> <li>Bonus: Familiarity with MTGO or Digital Magic the Gathering</li> <li>End result: Exhibits essential inter-team cooperation to ensure the game is improved and ready for customers.</li> </ul> <p>Culture</p> <ul> <li>Innovative Ownership: Be an owner, build owners</li> </ul> <p>We know that to succeed means to fail but fail wisely and come back better.
