<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We are seeking an organized, proactive and detail oriented shipping, receiving and inventory logistics specialists that will be a core operations employee serving an office that is dedicated to developing cutting edge hardware and software technologies.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Unlike traditional distribution centers, our facility handles high-mix, custom designed components, expensive test equipment, sensitive electronic components, and custom engineering prototypes. You will ensure fast intake, accurate cataloging, rapid internal delivery, and flawless logistics tracking to keep all stakeholders aware of goods movements. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Duties include preparing both outgoing and incoming shipments of parts, materials and supplies. The Logistics Specialist must make arrangements for all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that outbound goods are properly packaged, and must track all shipments on a regular basis so that internal stakeholders maintain accurate expectations for deliveries. Prepares all required shipping documents and optimizes cost/quality/delivery through utilization of the best carriers. The Logistics Specialist confirms physical shipments are matching shipping documents including bills of lading, commercial invoices, purchase orders and other documents. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Manages the outbound and inbound of all products, materials, and supplies, including inventory and expensed materials</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>About the Work</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Inspect & Process Inbound Shipments: Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming daily freight and parcel shipments (FedEx, UPS, DHL, freight carriers) for damage and order accuracy.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Fast-Track Delivery to Labs: Ensure components, raw materials, PCB assemblies, and custom parts are logged into our system and delivered directly to specific engineering labs or individual engineers in a timely manner.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Capital Equipment Intake: Properly record and tag incoming high-value lab equipment, tooling, and test rigs for asset management.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Tracks and receives non-inventory transactions including consumable materials, office supplies, I.T. equipment and other materials</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborates and communicates with external parties, such as logistics providers and customer service representatives, to ensure success of shipping activities.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Space Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized 60,000 sq. ft. receiving dock and central inventory room.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Forklift & Pallet Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, stackers) to unload freight trucks.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Waste & Recycling: Manage cardboard, crate disposal, and electronic scrap recycling programs across the facility.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner with commercial team members by handling shipping logistics for major projects, key customer accounts and engagements such as demos or trade shows.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Optimizes shipment modes for HR and IT deliveries to other sites and remote employees. </span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries, verifies goods received, records receipt for accounts payable and inventory management, and reports damages/discrepancies to appropriate parties.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Documents conditions of materials for outbound shipments to ensure that any goods damaged in transit are able to be proven as shipping damage</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Documents any damage to packaging of goods received, to facilitate 3rd party damage claims</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Supports other facilities and remote workers receiving, by handling ERP transactions and proper receipt recording for accounts payable.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Reviews and audits master data relating to the shipment of </span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Coordinates inventory movements to and from carriers and 3PL partners as needed </span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Prepares shipments of batteries observing all hazardous materials guidelines</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Remains current on logistics industry regulations and certifications, especially pertaining to lithium-ion batteries.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Additional responsibilities</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform duties consistent with industry best practices and standard operating procedures</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Responsible for accurate shipping and receiving data in our MRP system </span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Provides backup support for inventory management, including counting and inventory movements as needed.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Responsible for maintenance of critical shipping certifications and standards recognized by DOT and IATA for dangerous goods shipping.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintains forklift trainer certification.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Handles, stores and moves materials according to established storage layout of future shipping & receiving areas.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>About You</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience: 3+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory control, ideally in a hardware, electronics, manufacturing, or engineering lab setting.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with Inventory ERP systems, barcoding software, and shipping platforms (FedEx ShipManager, UPS CampusShip, FreightWise).</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Generally, 4 or more years of related experience in logistics or supply chain functions. Ideally a first level university degree or equivalent experience. </span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk across a large sq. ft. footprint throughout the day, and operate material handling equipment. </span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong understanding of logistics and procurement processes.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to work as part of a team and experience managing a team.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to share data and information via documents, spreadsheets, and other tools.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Knowledge of and experience with MRP systems.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to exercise independent judgement to solve complex issues.</span></li>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><em>The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Agility Robotics is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions who work in other locations.
