The Pre-Job Planning Manager also manages regional VDC teams, prefabrication departments, and works closely with the purchasing department.</p> <p><strong>Essential Job Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure Pre-job Planning Process is Executed Consistently</li> <li>Ensure project has 100% of scope captured</li> <li>Refine and maintain feedback loop, previous estimates, current projects, completed projects</li> <li>Align processes, systems and team with the approach to start projects per company standards</li> <li>Manage to consistent field installation standards</li> <li>Manage VDC team, and Total Station Team to ensure timely accurate and consistent models and field layouts</li> <li>Manage Prefab team to ensure quality prefab that improves project performance</li> <li>Manage Purchasing process to ensure complete buyouts</li> <li>Layout / Control Takeoff Metrics</li> <li>Pre-Job Planning Meeting Metrics</li> <li>Quarterly and Annual Reviews</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Required: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Four years or more of electrical field experience</li> <li>Four years or more of management experience</li> <li>Strong understanding of electrical construction processes, and industry regulations</li> <li>Sound business judgment, strong decision making, superior verbal communication, and conflict resolution skills</li> <li>Effective negotiation skills, strong communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships across teams</li> <li>Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams</li> <li>Superior organization skills with the ability to multi-task, set priorities, schedule, and establish and follow up on deadlines</li> <li>Must have an entrepreneurial approach to problem solving</li> <li>Driven for and by success with a strong sense of urgency and a “get the job done” attitude</li> <li>Technology and computer proficiency</li> <li>Experience in utilizing BIM/VDC and prefabrication</li> <li>Experience in project management is a plus</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong></p> <p>The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
