As a key contributor, you will drive innovation, optimize system performance, and ensure scalability, security, and reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, security, compliance, and data analytics</p> <h3><strong>Key&nbsp;</strong>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li data-start="152" data-end="316"><strong data-start="152" data-end="179">Develop Backend Systems</strong><br data-start="179" data-end="182">Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend solutions, ensuring robust APIs for mobile, web, and third-party integrations.</li> <li data-start="318" data-end="553"><strong data-start="318" data-end="363">Ensure Performance, Security &amp; Compliance</strong><br data-start="363" data-end="366">Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with AML, KYC, data privacy, and state-by-state sweepstakes regulations.</li> <li data-start="555" data-end="700"><strong data-start="555" data-end="565">Mentor</strong><br data-start="565" data-end="568">Support and guide engineers by sharing best practices and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.</li> <li data-start="702" data-end="882"><strong data-start="702" data-end="736">Collaborate Cross-Functionally</strong><br data-start="736" data-end="739">Partner with product, finance, compliance, and support teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure seamless operations.</li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;">&nbsp;</span><strong style="font-size: 12pt;">Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li data-start="235" data-end="321">Proven experience designing, developing, and scaling high-performance backend systems.</li> <li data-start="323" data-end="419">Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development, automation, and data processing.</li> <li data-start="421" data-end="534">Experience building and maintaining APIs, working with CI/CD pipelines, and supporting infrastructure automation.</li> <li data-start="536" data-end="681">Solid understanding of system performance optimization, security best practices, and regulatory compliance, including AML, KYC, and data privacy.</li> <li data-start="683" data-end="785">Experience working with data pipelines, analytics integrations, and geolocation-based access controls.</li> <li data-start="787" data-end="877">Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers and sharing engineering best practices.</li> <li data-start="879" data-end="992">Strong collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams across product, finance, compliance, and support.</li> <li data-start="994" data-end="1084">Hands-on experience with incident management, monitoring systems, and root cause analysis.</li> </ul> <h3><strong style="font-size: 12pt;">Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li data-start="120" data-end="240">Fluent in English</li> <li data-start="263" data-end="327">Minimum 4 years of relevant experience</li> </ul>
